The cabin was compact but spotless, with everything we needed We were picked up from the train station, they got us firewood so we could have a fire, more coffee whenever we asked. Georganne was an excellent host, and I'd stay there again.“

„This really was a charming home built as a summer cottage with wood and charming decor, and now with an addition too. Very quiet. Our first time in East Glacier, it was a great location to visit Two Medicine, St. Mary and Browning. The owner must live here part time, lots of plants and photos. A wildflower in a vase greeted us. We would stay again. “

„Authentic Montana. Quiet with terrific access to all things East Glacier St Mary, Sun Road and North. If one enjoys the Authentic aspects ofva national park then one cannot go wrong here.“

„Place is much nicer than even pictures look. Everything is new and clean. Communication with owners was great. The Cattle Baron Supper Club nearby is a must have dining experience. Bed is very comfortable. A plus!“

„We first stayed at Lone Elk Lodge 10 years ago. We had such a pleasant experience then that when we decided to return to Glacier National Park this summer, Lone Elk Lodge was our first search. We spent 4 nights here and it was exactly what we expected! Leslie, Carl, and family have a beautiful lodge that they have lovingly cared for and maintained over the years. „Check-in was very easy and communication with property managers was great. It was very peaceful and quiet after the busyness of Apgar and Rising Sun. Very clean, organized and well-stocked. Our astronomer son said the views of the night sky were spectacular. We really enjoyed watching the alpacas and guard llama! Great location for day trips to Waterton and Two Medicine. „This was the perfect little cabin to stay in while exploring Glacier National Park. It was right in the middle of both the East and West entrance allowing us to be able to explore both sides without having to drive too far. The cabin was cute and spacious. We enjoyed having a kitchen to be able to cook in. We loved sitting out on the deck enjoying the views, however, we did wish there was a table for eating but we made do. „The property is close to the Many Glacier and St. Mary entrances to Glacier National Park. The house is spacious. It has 4 beds in two different rooms. We were there in June 2025, when the weather was cool, so we didn't need A/C, which it didn't appear to have. The owner was very responsive. The water may or not be drinkable, but there was a Culligan water cooler which was adequate for drinking water. I would stay there again. “

„Chuck and Vickie were our hosts, they were great—there were fresh brownies on the counter when we arrived! They came over after we got in and visited with us, talked about the place and even shared how to use bear spray. He had a few bear sprays there at the house for us to use. There were 7 adults and we had plenty of room and ample seating. On our last night Chuck and Vickie stopped over with some fresh huckleberries for us to try. We really enjoyed our time! “

"Tolle Unterkunft für Abenteuerliebende. Motel ist seeeehr abgelegen und es gibt keine Eikauf oder Essen möglichkeiten. Also etwas einkaufen vor der Ankunft. Dann im tollen Unterstand Pick nick machen. Personal und Farmer von nebenan war sehr freundlich. Dank Tipps haben wir am Abend sogar 2 Grizzlis gesehen. Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet. Für uns war es eine der besten Motels auf unserer Reise. Wenn man aber gerne Stadtleben hat, ist man hier ganz falsch. Wenn man Ruhe, Natur und Abenteuer mag, dann ist es meeeeega. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen."
