„We have had three pretty days at the Bassenthwaite Lake Side Lodge. Everything was successfully. We loved to sit outside on the terracce. It is such a quite, peacefull place. Two times we walked to the Pub "Sun in" in Bassenthwaite it is a halfe hour walk away.“

The cottage has enough space to live in, a nice little private garden, a calm and beautiful surrounding. And...what is more important than all this, the owners Colin and Lesley are very nice and helpful people. We liked the little chats and friendly suggestions. We really recommend this cottage in the calm region of the Lake District.“

„Lovely caravan which was very clean and dog friendly. Well stocked including bowls for doggy. Communication from the owners was excellent. They even sent us a list of dog friendly walks some with dog friendly pubs. Lovely dog friendly pub Mason Arms just across the road from the camp where they let doggy sit under the table whilst owners had a meal. It was a small caravan site which was quiet and well laid out just what we needed.“

„Das schöne Cottage bietet alles, was man braucht und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Schnell ist man im Lake District Nationalpark und ebenso schnell an der Küste. Ein Auto ist hier nach unserer Auffassung allerdings unverzichtbar. Die Gastgeber stehen immer für alle Fragen zur Verfügung und geben nützliche Tipps für Ausflüge, Pubs und Restaurants.“
