Asheville is open and welcoming visitors! Stay in our peaceful, cozy cabin in the mountains, while only 25 min from AVL. Soak in the hot tub under the stars, reap the health benefits of the sauna, , curl up with a book in the sunroom, sip your coffee from the swinging porch chairs, enjoy the crackling of a fire by the wood burning fireplace.

The space
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:

*Bedroom 1 (1st floor): Queen bed with memory foam mattress.

*Bedroom 2 (2nd floor) - with private bathroom: Queen bed with memory foam mattress.

*Sunroom/Office (1st floor): Daybed can be used as a single bed (memory foam) - best suited for kids. This is a small room that can be used as a 3rd bedroom, or as an office space. It has French doors with curtains that open into the living room, which can be shut for privacy. No closet.

INDOOR SPACE:

*The space is open and airy with a kitchen fully stocked with all the necessities for making a delicious meal.

*Living room with high ceilings and a beautiful 2-story stone fireplace and chimney. A small amount of wood, paper, and kindling, or a fire log are provided (in the fall and winter) to get you started with a fire. More firewood can be purchased at Food Lion if needed.

*50 in. HDTV with Roku (*you can sign into your personal streaming subscriptions, there are no channels or subscriptions provided*).

*Stacked washer/dryer on the 1st floor for you to use.

*One bedroom on 1st floor with a bathroom next door (shower only).

*One bedroom on 2nd floor with a private full bathroom.

*Sunroom/office space with a daybed is located on the 1st floor.

OUTDOOR SPACE: Outside spaces include a covered porch with two swinging chairs, surrounded by trees - perfect for morning coffee, reading, or daydreaming. The attached patio has an outdoor dining table, hot tub, electric sauna, charcoal grill, and outdoor shower.

GUEST ACCESS
You will have access to the entire house.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
The house is located in the mountains and in the woods, so there is no shortage of wildlife or bugs around!

Even though there is plenty of privacy and the neighborhood houses are far apart, you might hear the occasional dog barking or kids playing. Please be mindful of our sweet mountain community and keep noise down after 10pm (sounds travel quite well in the mountains!)

Please note that the driveway is gravel. A 4WD or AWD will make it super easy for you, but is not a requirement - I drive a Toyota Corolla! But if you are uncomfortable with steepish gravel roads, this place is probably not the right fit. We do get some snow in the winter, mostly in January and February.

The cabin has well water that has been tested -I personally think it’s the best tasting water in the world!
