Praktisch für die Durchreise an der Küste entlang und für den Besuch der Redwood Parks. Von außen sieht das Gebäude noch aus, wie die meisten älteren Motel6, etwas frische Farbe etc. würde nicht schaden aber die Räume (zumindest meiner) wurden frisch renoviert und haben neue Möbel, Böden und Farbe bekommen - moderner Look. Einzig einen Spiegel beim Waschbecken habe ich vermisst, der kommt aber demnächst noch. Sehr gutes Internet. Ich hatte ein Zimmer auf der Rückseite, wo es keine Parkplätze gibt, dafür ist es da sehr ruhig. Gute Verpflegungs- und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung.

Für 1-2 Nächte ok, länger eher nicht
Wir hatten nur ein günstiges Hotel für eine Nacht gebraucht und für das war es ausreichend. Zimmer war klein und für 3 Personen etwas knapp. Personal war ok - hat uns leider zuerst ein falsches Zimmer gegeben (war belegt). Sauberkeit hat auch gepasst.

Finger weg.
Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem bezahlbaren Hotel in der Nähe des Redwood Nationalparks, da schien ein Motel 6 eine gute Wahl. Wir waren schön öfter Motels dieser Kette und wussten, dass der Standard eher niedrig ist, aber das war schon der Hammer: Das Zimmer war wohl ursprünglich ein Raucherzimmer auch wenn es als Nichtraucher deklariert war. Es hat extrem nach Rauch gestunken. Die Betten unglaublich fleckig und schmudelig. Im Bad überall Haare. Keine Handtücher auf dem Zimmer. Bei Nachfrage an der Rezeption haben wir nur noch zwei kleine Handtücher bekommen, mit dem Hinweis, dass das die letzten waren und es keine anderen gäbe. Auch die Handtücher waren voller Flecken und wiederlich. Bloß nicht hier übernachten.

Stay with a dog
I travel with a small dog (20 lbs) So this is why I use motel 6 but the experience can be very different from one motel to another. This place was very good they gave me a first floor room right near the dog walk,which was all grass and clean. Small microwave and refrigerator added to the overall experience and would be nice for an extended stay. My only problem was the over use of air freshener, it took a while to air out the room.

VERY CLEAN and STATE OF THE ART-looking room, with mood lighting! Felt safe with the extra locks on the doors and a laundry right a cross the hall. Good supply of towels and soap although rememeber to bring your own shampoo/conditioner as only soap is provided. Great price! I also had a mini fridge and microwave! Perfect with a nice area for clothing storage and a small desk should you like to bring your work with you.
