Welcome to the Barn Swallow cabin! This cozy space is just right for your quiet weekend getaway. Tucked away from the crowds and bustle of a busy life is this tranquil setting in our new resort. We hope you enjoy your stay!

The Space:
Barn Swallow Cabin

The barn swallow bird has adapted so thoroughly to civilization that it is rare to find a man-made structure not used for their nesting (including most barns). Barn swallows capture most of their food on the wing so they spend more time aloft than almost any other land bird. So much so, in fact, that the renowned ornithologist Alexander Wilson once estimated that barn swallows travel over two million miles in the air during their lifespan (which he estimated was 10 years)!

Fortunately, the Barn Swallow cabin is much closer than two million miles no matter from where you start. The cabin accommodates two guests. Relax in its king-size bed or enjoy the homey seating area with great window views. A porch swing allows you to take advantage of the outdoors while under the roof of the spacious covered patio.

The chefs among you will appreciate the kitchen area supplied with utensils, cookware, hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig beverage maker.

Conveniently located to local area attractions, the cabin is only 15 minutes from Homestead Heritage Craft Village, Magnolia Silos, and Baylor University, just to name a few.

Majestic oak trees provide a restful, sun dappled environment for your stay. Our rural location is peacefully removed from adjacent commercial clutter and noise, yet is only minutes from interstate access and shopping.

The Barn Swallow cabin offers ground-level entry with no steps or stairs. Additional features include king-size bed and private entrance.

This cabin accommodates two guests with its comfy king-size bed. The spaciousness of the combined living and sleeping quarters allows for easy mobility around the room. There is a fishing pond in the center of the property that is stocked with largemouth bass and sunfish. It is catch and release only right now. We also have a double pickle ball court on site.
