„Beautiful historic home that’s super cozy and inviting. The updates they’ve done provide modern amenities yet you feel like you could be back in time with the stone fireplace and log cabin walls. The soak tub in the master bedroom with views of the woods was one of my favorite parts. Highly recommend this place!“

„This property was the perfect mountain getaway. About an hours drive from Bristol and Asheville made for easy day trips. The property is absolutely beautiful and we saw a lot of wildlife! All of the furniture was updated and very comfortable and we loved the hot tub and fire pit. We will hopefully be coming back in the future!“

„We really enjoyed our stay at the Johnson farmhouse. My daughter’s had a softball tournament in Johnson City and the location was perfect. We also went to historical sites and waterfalls. Overall, the experience was great. Would do it again if we go back. “

„It was like going back in time but with modern conveniences. We had the best time at this 200 plus year old house. Loved the wrap around porch for relaxing evenings. The hot tub was a huge hit. Relaxation for all to enjoy. Highly recommend this beautiful house. “

„Donna is a great hostess! The house is beautiful, large and cosy rooms, and the best part: a peaceful & secluded scape just a few minutes outside the city. „As soon as you pull in you are greeted by a beautiful willow tree. The property is just amazing, from the trout stream to the house. Oh my, the house, it is picturesque, it should be featured in a magazine. It is the cleanest vacation rental house we have stayed in. A big plus, just a short drive to Watauga lake. The host, Gary, is super friendly. We can’t wait to come back!“
