The central location is a mere 8-minute drive from the famous Taos Plaza and a short drive to multiple area ski resorts.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to stay-in and cook at home.

Enjoy Dish cable and complimentary access to the owner’s HBO Max and Prime Video accounts from the 50” TV in the living space.

From the bedroom, you'll wake-up to breathtaking views of Taos Mountain while relaxing in your king size bed.

Fast internet speeds make this a perfect option for those who travel for work. Your own washer and dryer will add to the convenience of your stay.

Outside:
This adobe is well nestled in a beautiful setting and is only mere minutes to all that Taos has to offer.

The water used for your stay is sourced from a private well on the property. Due to high drought conditions, we ask for your consideration in conserving water when possible.

As with most homes in Taos, Casita Romantica is NOT equipped with A/C. The materials used to build adobe homes tend to naturally regulate temperatures, reducing the need for air cooling. Please use provided fans and open windows at night to cool the home down. Close windows and shades during the day to keep the home cool.

We are a dog friendly rental. We charge a non-refundable pet fee of $50. You can select the pet option in the same area you select guest count. If you have missed the option to add a pet to your reservation, please reach out to pay your pet fee.

Guest understands that no special efforts have been made to “childproof” the home and accepts the risk of harm to any children/infants on the property.

We highly recommend buying travel insurance. We are unable to provide a refund for anything that falls outside of our cancellation policy and the dates that correspond with the policy.

Homes in El Prado are located on large lots in the high desert. Although we hire professionals to provide pest control for insects and mice, this is a reality of the New Mexico environment. Although rare, critters occasionally find their way into homes. An exterior security camera is present at the fenced entry of the property to deter trespassers and enhance security measures.
