We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, freshly remodeled cottage. The area is quiet, the view of Tawas Lake very peaceful. Town and area attractions are conveniently close by. We have stayed in a number of cottages and cabins in the area over the years and this was one of the cleanest.

The house and lake were great. The only issues we had was some trouble getting the door code to I nlock the door and the contact number between VRBO and the ammenties book inside were different. Also, there were no cups besides 4 coffee cups and it is quite the task to get off the Kayaks and onto the dock, especially for older folks. We did leave a couple items there and the host was kind enough to send them back to us. Overall was a nice experience with kust a couple hiccups.

The promised WiFi which was needed for work & the TVs was nonexistent. Communicated with host but left with non-working suggestions & no resolution. Left Thursday instead of Saturday. Amenities promised but not delivered. Outside garbage can out to road on our arrival Sunday, picked up Thursday morning so we had to wait for pick up to remove all trash before leaving. Comfy enough but altogether a disappointing stay.

We had poor communication with the owner and the maintenance man. The house itself was nice but the owner was very rude and argumentive when I notified him that the internet was not working. Therefore we could not watch any of the three televisions that we had.which the property was advertised with free wifi and 3 working smart tvs. I was on hold with vrbo a few times and did not want to spend anymore time dealing with the issue because I was on vacation. I really feel I deserve a refund for one of the three nights I paid for in advance because the house was not as advertised and the owner or maintenance man never came to fix the problem and the power lights were on the I ternet boxes and we unplugged them like the owner asked and waited and plugged back in. Nothing he suggested worked. And the night before we left we discovered out back on the property there was a line dangling in the wind which possibly could have been the issue. But no one ever came to try to fo anything about it and I was very upset and disappointed. Not what we paid for and kids were bored and disappointed as well. We have another trip coming up booked through you if you could possibly apply discount to our next trip.
