„Lovely place to stay for a country Maine experience, and very accessible to Acadia’s hiking trails (Giant Slide Trail, challenging boulder scramble!). Well-stocked kitchen (spices galore) and living room (games, books). We didn’t find coffee or toiletries but brought our own. Instructions were very clear. Property owner was very responsive with communications. Abel’s Lobster Pound nearby was a superbly scenic place to enjoy a delicious dinner and refreshing drinks the first night! “

„This is a room in a lovely old farmhouse. I thought the description could have been more detailed: I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive. “

„This is a wonderful (old) house with lots of space. The bedrooms are nicely separate, making it perfect for any group of people that would like some level of privacy. The outdoor fire pit is especially nice. It is 25-30 minute distance from Acadia and Bar Harbor, which we did not find an obstacle. It has a large dinging room table perfect for dinner and games. The kitchen is well furnished. Really perfect for a family visit to Acadia. “

„The house was nice and the owner was great to deal with, she provided a lot of local knowledge on things to do. I will say that it is on a surprisingly busy road. But the horses were great and the family loved to give them apple slices and carrots. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this. Also it’s not too far from Bar Harbor and Arcadia.“

„The property exceeded our expectations! Location was perfect. Quick walk to the grocery store, Charlie’s Seafood Market and Gather, a great breakfast restaurant. We spent a lot of time at the lake, which is almost right across the street. The playground is great and we didn’t realize there are lifeguards, and paddle boards, kayaks and life jackets for free use. „Our grown children who live in neighboring states met us in Maine for a long weekend together. The house has lots of vintage charm and a welcoming soul. "Die Unterkunft ist in Ordnung. Allerdings riecht das Zimmer aufgrund des erneuerungswürdigen Teppichs stark. Das Bett ist gut, der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Allerdings wird das Zimmer nicht täglich gereinigt. Die Erreichbarkeit des Nationalparks ist sehr gut. "
