Expedia did not get me what I paid for. I paid for a suite but received a handicap hotel room with no place to hang my wife's dress without it touching the floor. When I reported the issue to the hotel, I was informed there were no other rooms available. Upon returning to the room, we realized there was no hot water in the bathroom sink. At this point we had no other option, but to stay or risk paying for a different hotel and hoping for reimbursement. Holiday Inn Express apologized for the room mix up and refunded money back to Expedia since they were the booking agent, and the payment source. I have been back and forth with Expedia in 7 emails over the past 6 days, and they are refusing to give me the refund that Holiday Inn Express has already given them on my behalf. They tried to offer me $50 in OneKey Cash, but that is less than what Holiday Inn Express reimbursed them on my behalf. Not to mention, why in the world would I want to do business with Expedia again after this experience? At this point, I just want them to give me my money that Holiday Inn Express has already given them on my behalf, and they don’t ever have to worry about dealing with me again! Buyer beware of Expedia!
