Come enjoy the open space, privacy, mountain views, and easy trail access for your horseback, hiking or snowmobile adventure and avoid the crowds of Jackson. Nine miles to both Brooks Lake Road on the Continental Divide Trail, and the quaint frontier town of Dubois. Host is an expert on local trail systems and Wilderness Areas to help you plan your excursions. Pasture and/or corral available & ample parking for vehicles & trailers. Rustic craftsman Cabin is a studio-open floor plan with a queen bed and a LaZBoy queen sofa bed with a 2" memory foam topper. Glass door on woodstove creates a great ambience. Sunroom is separated by a door for privacy and contains king foam futon and a double-ended 2-person clawfoot soaking tub with a phenomenal 360 degree mountain view. Star gazing is amazing here with zero light pollution, as well as the Northern Lights if you're lucky. Foodies will enjoy the well stocked kitchen with some locally grown produce (July & August only) and eggs to welcome you, plus all the herbs, spices and staple ingredients you need to cook a feast. Two large dogbeds included. Due to woodstove folks with dust or smoke allergies, or a fear of horses, should not book here. Horses are loose on the property so gate must be closed.
