Big disappointment
We had booked 6 nights at the Grand Hyatt in Dubai via Hotels.com. We have stayed at this hotel countless times and have always been happy. I estimate that we have stayed about 100 nights at this hotel. After arriving at 3 PM we were told that the room was not ready yet. After we refused to accept this, we were offered a room on the 2nd floor and when we moved into the room, instead of the usual wonderful view, this time we only had a view of bushes and a roof. Our complaint to the Chef de Reception didn't help, but he didn't even think it necessary to check the computer and simply told us grumpily that there were no rooms available on the upper floors. As regular guests for many years, we did not accept this and left immediately. We then moved to a hotel in Dubai, where they are known to be customer-friendly. The even bigger disappointment, however, was the booking company hotels.com, which showed absolutely no appreciation and only sent us, as "Gold Members", unfriendly emails from America. Here too, however, we have drawn the consequences and will stop working with Hotels.com in future. You would think that if you have been a good customer for years and are rewarded for this with GOLD status, that help will be provided the moment a problem arises. Unfortunately, this was not the case. New customers are apparently easier to find than to look after and satisfy old customers. This is very regrettable.

Es war ok
Bei Ankunft mussten wir 3h auf unser Zimmer warten obwohl uns immer eine halbe Stunde gesagt wurde. Das Zimmer an sich war toll jedoch nicht ganz sauber. Unter dem Sessel befanden sich noch Haarspangen und weiterer Dreck von den Gästen zuvor. Nachts wurde es im Flur sehr laut. Gäste haben sich da um 2h morgen immer lautstark unterhalten (fast jede Nacht) Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war top und alles war dabei. Die Poollandschaft war perfekt mit den Kids.

Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich reichhaltig.Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Fitnessstudio war hervorragend ausgestattet. Es gibt einen großen Außenpool und ein Hallenbad. Der Gartenbereich ist groß, sehr gepflegt und bietet eine große Liegewiese mit ausreichenden Liegen.

Sher günstige Lage- 10min vom Airport, 10min zum nächsten Shoppingscenter, Ubahn und mit dem Taxi ins Zentrum. Ganz tolles interkontinentales Frühstück. Bemühter Service und sehr saubere elegant ausgestattete Zimmer.

Ein Hotel, welches seinen Namen "Grand " verdient
Es gibt fast nichts, was man an diesem Hotel bemängeln kann. Ausstattung, gigantisches Frühstücksbüffet, die Qualität in den div. Speiserestaurants, Poolanlage, Sauberkeit (wirklich überall), freundliche und kompetente Mitarbeiter (allen voran Herr Thusar an der Rezeption), all dies würde ich als vorbildlich bezeichnen. Katastrophal ist die derzeitige W-Lan-Versorgung. Aber, es soll wohl der Provider-Vertrag schnellstens neu abgeschlossen werden, wie man hörte. Auch sehe ich die Teilnahmepflicht an der gigantischen Silvesterveranstaltung für 1100 Dirham p. Person (incl. Buffet, nicht alkoholische und alkoholische Getränke) nicht unbedingt als gastfreundlich an. Unter dem Strich überwiegt aber nach 14 Tagen Aufenthalt der bleibende Eindruck eines Traumhotels.

Leider für 5 Sterne zuviele Mängel
Am Pool null WLAN für ein 5 Sterne Hotel ist WLAN am Pool zwingend, Sonnenschirme zerissener Stoff und Aufzugsschnüre defekt, alte Holzliegen (aber gute Unterlage), Pool Bar Betrieb schwach von den Drinks und Speisen. Das Hotel müsste mal ein wenig aufpeppen dann wäre es wieder 5 Sterne würdig

Immer wieder ein toller Aufenthalt...
Gerade die vielen Pflanzen im und um das Hotel herum machen diesen Ort zu einem Ruhepol in Mitten einer pulsierenden, lebendigen Stadt. Das Servicepersonal im Frühstücksbereich ist außerordentlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Beispielhaft sei hier Hassan aus Ägypten erwähnt. Das Frühstück ist hochwertig und umfangreich. So startet man entspannt und erholt in den Tag.wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

Super schönes Hotel
Wie nicht anders zu erwarten in Dubai. Dieses Hotel bietet alles, was man sich nur vorstellen kann. Die Zimmer sind weltklasse, alles ist sehr sauber. Der Service ist einfach nur super!!! Hotel liegt nahe des Flughafens!!
