We expected from the two star rating that it would be basic but all the fixtures and fittings were of a good quality and generally it was a pleasure to stay here. „The room was smaller than a typical hotel room, but was clean and everything worked as expected. There is a common room with cooking supplies. The only complaint is that it's difficult to find food in Swalinbar, but that is unrelated to the hostel. The surrounding area is beautiful and there is a lot to do. “

„Sadly (due to a family issue) we had to cut our 2 day stay, to one, however the one night we spent at HH was excellent. Kate is such a wonderful host who cant do enough for you. It was great to catch up with her at breakfast and she was so forthcoming with info on the local area. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!“

"Wir waren etwa vor 15 Jahren breits schon einmal hier an dieser wuderbaren Location. Aber es war als wie wenn wir nur kurz weg gewesen wären, über die Schwelle getreten und wir hatten sofort das Welcome Home feeling wie vor 15 Jahren.Nur das diesmal unser 11 Jähriger mit dabei war, der erkunden wollte warum er einen Nordischen Namen bekommen hat, und wir das Land und die Menschen so lieben.Wir haben uns bei der Anfahrt natürlich verfahren, aber abends um 22 Uhr, an einem Hof, ein Kind gefragt wo es lang geht, darauf ist die Mutter in ihr auto gestiegen und ist voraus gefahren und hat uns bis vor die haustüre gecarried.
