„Delicious dinner and breakfast, clean room, and an unbeatable bay view. The corridor in the guesthouse could use some freshening after the summer season 🙂“

„We stayed here for three nights and it was very nice and atmospheric, but there are smaller things here and there that could have been avoided: A hook on the wall with left over traces where a picture used to be, some Velcro around the entrance door to our room, half hanging, I guess there used to be mosquito net, a broken chair on our porch, a lantern lying broken on the ground on the way up from the property entrance to the main building… all small things that were not really too bad but also ...

„nice place, but restaurant closed Sunday and Monday. Don`t get a room in the old part, our room was cold and never got really warm. if you are staying in Portree, make sure you pre book a restaurant, almost impossible to get a table“

„From the moment we approached the driveway I was taken aback. There’s a large pile of old tires at the bottom of the drive. The drive is several hundred feet long and very rutted and muddy. It badly needs to be regraveled, as does the parking area. The picture of the house on the listing is many years old, and it needs paint badly now. I know it’s a wet environment, but it’s not well maintained. Inside is not real clean. There’s a lot of mold, and a lot of basic repairs need to be done. ...

„From start to finish, everything was great. Contact with the host was quick and smooth. The cottage has a great view and there is everything you need. The electric car can also be charged by arrangement. I highly recommend it!“

„Property beautifully presented, high level of cleanliness, nearly everything equipped just missing a couple of kitchen items, like small plates and heat protector stands. Price was expensive due to our original 2 week holiday which was booked 6 months in advance being cancelled 2 weeks prior to holiday date, which lead to booking this property as only property available on the Isle of Skye which made it expensive for a week!!“

„A great spot to spend a couple of nights and explore Skye from. Would definitely recommend.“
