My mother is an elderly woman and constantly complains about the height of the beds in motel rooms. It is very difficult for an older person who has mobility issues to get up on to these beds and down off them safely and most accessible rooms only have one bed. We are two people who travel together.

It's an airport hotel, but an excellent one. Lots of food choices a block or two away, on a surprisingly nice sidewalk (trees, shade, quiet). The burrito place has vegetarian tacos! It's right next to DTW, the shuttle runs on time. No complaints. I would stay here again, happily.

This hotel should get demolished and built to current standards. There is absolutely no sound insulation and if you stay in the 1st floor you will hear every movement from the floors above. There must be wood floor joists and they are VERY noisy. We were on the 1st floor and it was the worst night’s sleep ever… Bathroom ceiling had mold. The breakfast area and food could also use some updating. There’s really no reason to not have a working toaster. The toaster needed to be kept below a certain level in order for it to work. At that level it doesn’t toast… Spend $20-$30 more and stay at a more updated place.
