Dieses schöne Apartment im zweiten Stock bietet ein frisches, frisches, verbessertes Gefühl mit lebendig akzentuiertem Dekor und geschmackvollen Meeresleben. Nur wenige Schritte vom Strand entfernt können Sie die Meeresbrise vom Balkon des Wohnzimmers aus genießen. Das Wohnzimmer ist wunderschön eingerichtet und verfügt über ein hochwertiges Schlafsofa, einen großen Flachbild-TV, hochwertige Holzfußböden, einen gelegentlichen türkisfarbenen Stuhl und sehr hübsche Schattenbox-Couchtische. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet und bietet modernisierte Theken und Haushaltsgeräte. Der Esstisch bietet Platz für sechs Personen und hat einen individuell gemalten Shabby-Chic-Look. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein hübsches Queensize-Bett, fabelhafte blaue und weiße Designer-Bettwäsche, einen Flachbildfernseher und hübsch hergestellte schäbige schicke Möbel. Die zwei Doppelstockbetten sind eingebaut und bieten gestochen scharfe Bettwäsche, Leselampen und lustige Fischakzent-Kissen. Es gibt ein Badezimmer, das mit einer benutzerdefinierten Dusche, einer verbesserten Beleuchtung und benutzerdefinierten Theken schön aufgewertet wurde. Dieses Gerät bietet keine Badewanne, nur eine ebenerdige Dusche. Es gibt auch eine zentral gelegene Münzwäscherei für Ihre Bequemlichkeit. The good - location and access to this amazing beach are the best things about this property. The whole area is very quaint with beautiful homes all around you. Proximity to the mall is a plus. The bad - cleanliness. The unit needs some upkeep and deep cleaning. For example, the couch is filthy and should be cleaned or replaced. The local cleaning crew did not clean the bathroom floor properly and it was pretty dirty upon check in. There were few cleaning products in the home we could use to clean it up on our own, so we used dish detergent. The kitchen overall but especially the cabinets need a refresh and need to be thoroughly cleaned up. Other issues - the bathroom door does not shut properly, so we had to leave it open. The two beach chairs were broken. So we could not use them. We were not aware we could not setup on the beach with our own stuff unless we paid the beach chair and umbrella rental fees everyday. So this adds 120 to your daily cost (for 4 people).

Great beach and pool.

We like appartment 11A enough that we have stayed there 5 times. Each time things seem slightly more run down: e.g. shower faucet hard to adjust, burned out light bulbs, curtains did not open, outdoor grounds needed maintenance. We enjoyed our stay but the price was relatively high with all the added rental fees.

Ready to come again !!!

Luwana is great !!!! Responded quickly to messages. The unit was exactly how it was described. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. The short walk to the beach was easy. Chair and umbrella rentals were right off the walkway. What little cooking we did, the cookware was available ( just needed a better pot scrubber to clean). I hope to be able to rent this unit again !!!!!

Great little place!!!

We stayed in nantucket cottage 11A. Perfect size for our family of 4. Had a bit of a problem checking in with the locks not working. We called several times and no response. Finally made contact and got in with a temp code only to forget it (my fault). Tried calling again and no response. Could not leave b/c didnt know the code to get back in. We made the best of it and finally made contact several hours later to get the code again. After that it was smooth sailing. The place was pretty clean and decorated very well. I really like the layout with the vaulted ceilings and balcony. Perfect location!!! Easy access to the beach and short car ride to attractions east and west. 3 stars only b/c of communication.

We had a great time! Luwana was great to work with. She always responded quickly and able to give helpful information. There was still some sand left in the condo but we kind of expected that being right on the beach. Overall our experience was great and we would definitely stay here again!

Very cute and all we needed. The tricky part is the beach access. The beach is easily accessible but difficult to find a place to setup being that most everywhere is considered “private” and not super convenient for folks that do not rent chairs on the beach. All in all…great stay.

Oregon grandma visiting Destin grandchildren.

Adorable, comfortable beach cottage. Well supplied with the basic necessities, great location, delightful decor. The layout feels open and spacious yet cozy. I enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony, walking down to Camile’s and the beach, and visiting with grandchildren. The hallway bunk beds were a fun feature - one night they comfortably accommodated two teenagers and another night two youngsters. This cottage was the perfect arrangement for me, giving me my own delightful space and privacy yet roomy enough for visiting grandchildren. I hope to be a repeat guest.

Location is great!

Overall a great stay! But I will say that the kitchen is VERY small. We did A LOT of cooking and it was not an easy task. But the kitchen had any tool we needed so that was a plus! The location is great!

Overall, perfect!

Check in was a bit rough with the original door code not working but Luwana was very fast and responsive and had it fixed in a few hours! The property was so cute and perfect for my little family and also a short walk away from the beach. We enjoyed every bit of it and will gladly stay there again!

Bed was dirty, disgusting. Sheets had a bunch of hair and dirt.

We have come to Destin for our anniversary for the last 15 years and have stayed in the Nantucket Cottages. This cottage was by far the most disappointing one we have stayed in. 11A is what you call surface cleaning. Bed sheets and covers were extremely dirty. They had a bunch of hair and dirt everywhere. These sheets were definitely not cleaned. It was just nasty. I called the owner and she sent over the cleaning lady who provided other bedding. The tables in the living room and kitchen were not clean as they too had hair and crumbs everywhere. Couch had crumbs of food. Remote controls had hair stuck to them and all dusty which shows they have not been cleaned it quite a long time. Thankfully I bring my own cleaning products (for this reason and covid concerns). However, with that said I do not come on vacation to clean up other peoples filth. We definitely left this place cleaner than how we walked into it. I will never stay here again. Instead of just collecting rental income for this property some serious cleaning needs to be take place on a consistent basis. Clean under the bed too! There are what looked like baby clothes and just filth. Really deep clean this place and like I mentioned don’t just “surface clean”.
