After checking in and arriving at our assigned room. The room was clean, but the TV didn't work, "No Signal" error. I called the fromt desk to inform them of my situation. The gentleman responds, oh! Yeah, we have had problems with this for the last couple of days. I ask, well why didn't you mention this when we were checking in? He apologies, let me see if I can find you a room thats working. I will call you back when I find one. I call my friends that traveled with us, and they are having the same issue.
We leave for a few hours to check out the beach and location for tomorrow's outing. After returning to the hotel, the same gentleman is at the desk and I approach. " Hey you said you were going to call me back, what's up with the TV situation?" He responds, " I'm sorry, but it's not our fault."
Needless to say, I'm not bery happy and inform him, 1 you could have informed us during check-in. and given us an option to choose another hotel. 2. You didn't even call me back to inform if this was a intermittent isdue our complete black throughout the hotel.
I asked to speak with a manager and was told they want be there until tomorrow. Fast forward. After leaving the beach wr returned to the hotel about 5:30 the next day; the manager was there. She oriceeds to tell me that its not their fault and that the employee had offered me thr opportunity to change room's. This was a lie. Why weren't we assigned these rooms initially. Very bad customer service
