Great Beach Getaway
Good location, good views, comfortable stay. We walked to the beach almost every day. It takes about 7-10 minutes. We also walked to Walmart to pick up some groceries. It's about a 10 minute walk away. Notice: The shuttle doesn't run on Monday and Tuesday! Plan accordingly.

It was ok
Stayed one week. The condo we were in looked nothing like the photos. It was nice don’t get me wrong. Light in kitchen did not work messages the number the first day to tell them and heard nothing back the entire time I was there. The pool was great my kids absolutely loved it. The shuttle to the beach was a plus.

Archie, I am very sorry to see this 3 star review. I received no communication from you of any concerns. The condo photos in the listing are of our vacation home with the exception of the few upgrades. We furnished a New sofa and Island stools. Bed quilts may be different as they get changed out for cleaning. Do the upgrades/changes really deserve a less 2 star review? I wish you would have called me regarding the light bulbs in the kitchen. I received no call, text or platform message from you, so I am shocked to learn in your review there was an issue. We take pride in our home and are blessed to be able to share it with others so they too can make wonderful family memories. Our Guests experience is very important to us! We would never not respond! We're glad to read that you and your family had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed our home and the resort. Thank you again for booking with us.

Nice place with great location
This is not on the beach, but it is a quick 2 minute drive or maybe 10 minute walk from beach access. Everything we wanted to do was 10 minutes or less away. The place itself was very clean and had everything myself and two kids needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Good not great
The location of resort is perfect you can be anywhere in Destin in no time. The king size bed was more like a full bed and was not comfortable at all. We slept on the pull out couch one night to try and see if it was better. (It wasn’t ). I knew the location was across the street from the beach, but when I read gulf views I thought something completely different than the view I had once there. Again it’s a nice place just wasn’t what I was looking for and that’s completely on me.

Very relaxing, peaceful and quiet
We loved this condo. The location was perfect. Very close to the beaches and the property itself was spectacular. We felt like we were at a Disney resort. This is a great property. So close to Henderson Beach state park. Along with convenient shopping around the corner. Spacious condo. Love having a kitchen to cook instead of eating out every night. We did not have full access to all pool amenities, as the large pool area was closed and roped off. We had access to a small heated pool and hot tub. Which was fine considering the weather was cool and it was the off season. But it would have been nice to know the facility does this in the winter.

It is not heated and with the the weather being as cool as it was, enjoyment was found in the heated pool and hot tub. Our guests comfort is very important to us. Overall a good stay
This was our first time staying here. My initial impression was good - the condo appeared tidy and clean. I was pleased to see cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items to get us started until we could get to the store (we were prepared and brought these with us after reading the instructions emailed to us which were pretty clear and helpful in knowing what to expect). It was nice having a washer and dryer available in case we needed it. The balcony was a nice little spot to sit and drink coffee in the mornings. I appreciated the whole resort overall- very nice amenities! I deducted two stars for cleanliness- the one thing when you stay somewhere that you expect to be CLEAN is the bed. Unfortunately there were multiple stains (I’m assuming bodily fluid stains) all over the sheets. They were not clean. An unclean bed is pretty unacceptable in my opinion. For the price we paid, I would have thought we would get clean/new sheets. That would be the only improvement I would suggest.

I wish you would have told me about the sheets upon your arrival. l would have had our housekeepers back there immediately to change the sheets for you, this is definitely an oversight from our cleaner and what we provide to our guests.. Beautiful condo
The condo was clean and comfortable. The pool which is why I rented the unit for my grandchildren was awesome; even better than our cousin's unit nearby. The staff was helpful with the check-in process. My daughter made it to the unit before me, so they were very accommodating and allowed my daughter to check in for me. The owners are very maticulous with their unit and have many rules posted. I guess that's why it is in such good condition.

Wonderful place. Great environment & amenities. Great location!
We had a great time at the resort. The pool was so fun, the food in the bistro was unexpectedly good - fresh & not overspiced, the service was excellent. Our condo was spacious, clean & had everything we needed. My only con is that rhe written instructions given at our booking were outdated & didnt match what we were supposed to do when we got there. We figured it out so bo big deal!

Destin getaway
It was a very nice resort with great pool and amenities . Condo was clean and equipped with everything you need and more. Only downside of area is beach access to public very small and crowded. Most other condos has everything roped off . Definitely will stay again !

First time traveler to Destin with our party of five. We had a wonderful time and our condo was perfect for us! The pictures and depiction online are very accurate. Destin Palms Review
Our family of 3 came here for vacation for a week. The location of the property was okay for certain things. It was close to a lot of restaurants so we didn't have to drive far when we went out for dinner. You could walk to the beach (10-15 mins), but it wasn't easy hauling all the beach stuff. We didn't end up using the shuttle b/c it didn't go the beach we rented seats at so we drove and parked in public parking behind The Back Porch. The room itself was decently clean, but there was sand on the floor and in our bed so it was unavoidable always tracking it around. Water pressure in the showers were almost non existent, seems like new shower heads are needed. The pool was great - my son loved it. First day a child did poop in it though so we couldn't swim for 24 hours - not the condo's fault, but still just a heads up for the protocol! Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, but felt it was over priced for the location in proximity to the beach.

Hi Sofia, I wish you would have told me about the sand, I would have had housekeeping back to clean the floors right away and I could have addressed the showers also. We do take great pride in our vacation home and the comfort of our guests. The review is a little unfair as you are reviewing the resort and local area, which are out of our control. This should be on the resort review via trip advisor. I will certainly pass this information to the resort. I do understand the frustration of the pool being closed for sanitary concerns (out of our control and a child had an accident in the water) however, I would much rather wait and swim in clean water. Thank goodness our resort was on top of this for all the guests safety. We are glad that you had a wonderful vacation and hope you can make it back to the beach soon. We'd love to host you again to earn your 5 star review. Thanks again for booking with us.

Great stay!
We stayed for a week with our 2 young children (18 months and 3.5) and had a great time. The apartment is clean and located on the quiet side of resort. We rented bath gear to make it all a bit easier. The pool area is perfect for kids although did get really busy. Local beaches are fab - would recommend paying for Henderson state park beach. Wonderful stay overall!

We enjoyed our stay at 2714 “Sunsets of the Gulf.” The condo was nice, spacious, and clean as shown on the photos. The house was equipped with everything needed for your stay. The communication between Joe and I was great. She was very prompt with providing all the necessary information beforehand. Joe was great about responding back to your questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner. The check-in and check-out process was easy. We loved having a bar/restaurant at our convenience and walking distance to the beach. We loved our vacation experience with Joe at The Palms Resorts, 2714 “Sunsets of the Gulf.” Everything was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful! Oan: We did get to see the amazing view of the Sunset while laying in bed one evening. It was beautiful!

Really enjoyed our stay at Palms of Destin. Condo was so perfect and exactly what we needed; everything was decorated so nicely and we loved the porch facing the sunsets! The pools were great for the kids and beach was a close walk but there was also tons of free parking nearby. Check in and out was a breeze. Can't wait to go back and stay there again soon!

Lovely Stay
Exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Close enough to walk to beach though shuttle service is provided. Nice amenities - even had beach toys for the kiddos. Heated pool wasn’t huge but we were able to get in plenty of swimming the week we were here when the temperature was in the 50-60s. Resort restaurant was very good and there were many dining options within a short drive of the resort. Highly recommend!

Great Condo
The condo was clean, well equipped and perfect for the two of us. The location was great with easy access to the beach and fabulous restaurants. The pool was always warm and the jacuzzi was huge! I must say that the property management was awesome! Joe was extremely helpful and was right there to help with any issue we had. I would highly recommend this condo and their great management team!

There are many amenities available to take advantage of if you so choose. Due to the time of year, the weather was a bit cool for some of the outside amenities. Property is close to a nice golf course, but on the other side of a very busy road from the beach. But the condo was clean and well kept.

I feel this was a good experience. Communication and check in were easy and helpful. The condo is represented well in the pictures. Parking and location was easy and secure. Overall it was a nice experience. I think if there were anything to improve on would be a little better on the maintenance like freshen up the paint and repair some minor things. Also there was no place to store your clothes since there were no dressers in the master and supplies stored in the closet. It would have been more like home with some drawers to put our stuff in. On this trip there were just two of us. If I brought my family of 4 there would have been some issues living out of our suitcases. Overall it was a nice stay I would just add some storage for clothing.

Perfect for our family!
This was our first family vacation with our toddler, and we had the best time!! Laura was so nice and went over all of the details prior to arrival. The unit was perfectly sized for us, plenty of room for a toddler who is always going 100 mph! Everything was clean and we really appreciated the in unit washer and dryer which allowed us to pack a little more lightly. The resort as a whole was really nice. We chose this place over a beachfront condo because of the many amenities this resort offered, and it did not disappoint! The coffee house was so cute and our daily lattes were always tasty. The outdoor bar (utilized by me every day during my toddler’s nap time haha) offered a lot of great cocktails, great for a day out poolside. The many different pools/ splash area was very well thought out, there is a place for all ages. The next time we find ourselves in Destin, we will definitely be returning here. Thanks so much for hosting us!

Perfect place to stay on property or play around town!
Stayed here Labor Day weekend with my mother, daughter and niece. The condo itself was nicely decorated and the resort had a lot to offer for days we wanted to stay close. We spent beach time at the Backyard and we were equa-distant from San Destin and Ft. Walton Beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Resort & Unit!
My friends and I loved the palms resort. The pool, bar, and coffee shop were amazing & great spots to hang out. The unit was so clean & in a great location. Property managers were very easy to reach at all times & the service was amazing. Definitely coming back!
