Loved Dauphin Island
This was a beautiful condo for our relaxing Dauphin Island visit. The condo is spacious and there's plenty of room to spread out, whether eating in, watching TV or sitting on the wraparound deck. Very clean. Owner was easy to contact and responded quickly.

Great, Short stay
Wanted to get away for fall break. The location is great and we could walk to the beach or a few restaurants we love. The house was very clean. Snacks and toiletries that were available were an extra and much appreciated! Views of the bay side and beach side were awesome! We will be back!

A little get away
Rented the condo for a little get away. Only 2 hours from home but we needed the change of scenery. We are usually unable to leave our home for very long as we are care givers to our elderly parents who are not well. So we packed them up as also for the much needed escape. The condo was clean, modern and decorated beautifully. Beach access is just across the street. The condo was supplied with everything needed and more. The owners even had a welcome basket of snacks and a nice coffee station set up. There were lots of movies and games as well. My husband and I plan to return again sometime when we can stay a little longer. Even despite a few set backs with the elderlie's and some rain we really enjoyed our stay.

Easy, clean, good location and well appointed
Check in was simple, keyless access. Gift basket on counter and essentials in bathroom for us if we forgot something. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and stay there again. The boat launch next door is convenient and there is a dock with fish cleaning station. Very nice.

Future Hideaway
Can’t say enough nice things about this rental experience beginning with the communication with the owner starting the day before our arrival. A very personal and welcoming text! Left cell # in case we needed any further information and told me where we could find things to make our arrival smooth and our stay awesome! The day of our arrival, after driving through the night for 11+ hours and arriving early the owner was gracious enough to let us in the condo early!!! Which was so appreciated! The condo did not disappoint. It is decorated so beautifully! Top notch all the way!! I love the laid back atmosphere here, the people we met were all so friendly and helpful in telling us about where to buy groceries and good restaurants! We definitely will be making that our stop every summer if possible!!! Thank you again for the awesome accommodations!!

Condo
The condo is right across the street from the beach parking lot. The walk from the condo to parking lot was not so bad. The walk from parking lot to beach can be a little complicated, especially if you have a lot to take out to beach. Round trip by foot from condo to beach is probably around 20 minutes, maybe a little bet more give it take. Depending how fast or slow you walk. Now parking at the beach was fine. I suggested you park at the beach parking lot and if you need to go back to condo the walk it is not bad of a walk, especially if your hands free. We walked over to condo to grab a bite to eat or use the restroom. I enjoy walking so it didn't bother me makes for good excerise anyway. The permitted residents living there are super nice and respectful. we enjoyed them. The condo was very spacious for us as a family of five it worked for us and it certainly accommodated us comfortably. The host communicate back and was responsive to text messages and to any questions we had. I suggest you purchase food over in Mobil on Airport Boulevard area. Because there are no grocery stores, just your quick convenience stores. And make sure you buy fast easy stuff to make or barbecue because some of the restaurants are very wonky, unfortunately one restaurants was very short staff and the other ran out of pizza. I will have to write a review on Privates Pizza & Wings and on Island Rainbow. That is a whole different story. Back about the condo, my family had a very comfortable stay and enjoyable stay and the convince of being right across the beach parking lot to park over and being able to walk by foot was a plus. Great location.

This was a great condo to stay in! We were pleasantly surprised with the accomodations. All the condos were full in but we did not hear any neighbors- it was a wonderful and relaxing vacation. Loved the kitchen and cooking for sure! Enjoyed coffee and breakfast while taking in the views.

Family weekend away
The property and location were both great for a relaxing escape from our busy lives. The condo was thoughtfully appointed with arrival snacks, plenty of towels and blankets, and toiletries. There was plenty of lounge space for all of us. We enjoyed ourselves and will likely be back in the future.

Relaxation at Dauphin Island Condo
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was very clean when we arrived and had everything we needed to be comfortable and help us to feel at home. Beautiful island and nice condo! The snacks and coffee when we arrived were a nice touch. The neighbors below did not appreciate a toddler’s noises as they banged on the floor a few times. So if you have small kids be aware of that.

Enjoyable vacation with family
Locating property and check-in was a breeze. Property owner provided detailed instructions with everything we needed to know. Property was accurate to description and was bigger than I imagined from the photos. The two queen bedrooms are connected with a Jack and Jill bathroom. This was a plus for our family as we put our kids in one room and parents in the other. Grandparents got the large master far from the early rising kiddos. Swimming pool is small, but worked just great for our family as really no one else was using it. We used the grill one evening and was easy to operate. Deck was great as you got both bay views and ocean views. We watched the sunset each night and enjoyed watching the pelicans dive for food. We even saw dolphins! Pizza and ice cream place just a block away (Island Rainbow) was delicious. The public beach directly across the street charged on the weekend to access pier ($6 per car and $2 for walk-ins) but SO worth it. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and lots of movies/games to choose from. We did have to run to Ship & Shore Supplies for extra toilet paper and hand soap. Otherwise, plenty of towels and a big plus to have a washer and dryer. The only bump in the vacation, was the power for the westside of the island went out for about two and a half hours. We texted the property owner and he immediately responded with outage maps/links/approximate times to expect return of power. VERY helpful and no one's fault, but nice to have had such a quick response to our questions. Overall, wonderful stay to make great family memories.

Great place for family. Having a boat slip and pool was enjoyable.
We spent our vacation with our daughter, her husband and 3 boys. Because we had a boat slip it allowed us to boat and tube during the day and fish at night. The pool is small but was clean and we were the only ones using it so it was fine.

First time at Dauphin Island
This was my first time ever vacationing at Dauphin Island. This unit was extremely clean and very beautifully decorated. I LOVED the view!!! First trip to the island
This property was an excellent place to stay. The owner was very thorough with instructions. Plenty of room for family of 4. Everything you could need was already there and very clean. The view of the sound was amazing and we did not skip a morning to have our breakfast and coffee out on the balcony after AM walks. A couple of things I would point out: the fee to get onto the beaches here and proximity of this house to the closest beach. The beach closest is $6 per car (unlimited people) or $2pp over age 12. Driving was a must because of the walk required once you got to the beach lot. The walk from parking to the actual beach is quite long and difficult if you are carrying things to spend the entire day. The story of why the beach is so far from its original location is pretty interesting though. For our last 2 days we chose the beach at the end of the island closest to house. It’s $3pp (over age 12) and $3 to park. Both beaches were beautiful and clean and not crowded. The shell finding was the best we’ve ever experienced. Skinner’s is by far the best place to get food on the island. We got steam trays 3 nights of our stay. Do not expect good food other wise. The staff at the Lighthouse Bakery were so nice and helpful so it’s a fun stop for breakfast pastries one morning. Our first trip to the island was wonderful and we were sad to leave the views and weather. Would highly recommend this property if headed to Dauphin Island.

Beautiful Condo and very spacious!
Very clean and very comfortable condo. Very nice if you're taking a boat, the boat slip is just steps away. Mark is very helpful and available for any questions. He recommended the bird sanctuary where we got to see tons of wildlife and alligators in their natural habitat.

Relaxing family vacation
Enjoyed the condo and the location. The only negative this is the bar directly across the street plates loud music Friday night and Saturday night till 2am. Beds slept good but could definitely hear the music loud with all door shut and TV on.

Nice, clean condo. Enjoyed our stay here.
Nice place away from the big crowds. Beach access was OK, but you have to pay a user fee. There are other beach areas to use, but not within walking distance. You can't park without a permit. And I was told they would haul your car in if parked without permit. Parking permits would be nice for those renting on the island. The condo is nice, but the internet needs a lot of improvement. Most of the time our phones couldn't connect and when we did it was slow. We ended up using up our mobile data minutes because of this. Not a big choice of local places to eat or shop. kayaking was fun with local rental. Probably would stay here again if the opportunity should arise.

About our Evolve Vacation Rental experience!
Property was exactly as advertised! Clean, comfortable living area, kitchen and beds. Elevator was a plus when moving in and the covered parking was wonderful! Owners, Mark and Cindy, were always available to answer our random questions and made us feel very welcome with gift...a special touch! Restaurants were close and very reasonably priced.
