„My family enjoyed a very comfortable stay in this apartment. We stayed in Room 401, the apartment is spacious and clean. Downside is no lift to access to level 4 as stated, and the kettle was not in good condition (with a strange plastic smell and the filter is already melted) and I couldn’t make use of it to boil the water to prepare milk for my baby. Tried to call the receptionist (only appear during check in) but unable to communicate well so unable to exchange it. “

„You can take the tran from the JR station, the stop is 5 minutes away from the hotel consdiering the icy streets.
Staff was friendly and professional, room was spaceous. There is a shared kitchen too.
Convenient stores are a 7-10 minute walk away. Ropeway is a 15 minute stroll away. Can recommend“

We were able to walk to the Hakodate Ropeway and some restaurants near the red brick warehouse. I would recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again when we visit Hakodate!!“

I booked a higher room category, and the room size was noticeably larger than the usual standard in Japan. If you’re traveling with luggage or simply want more space to relax, I can’t stress enough how important it is to upgrade to a bigger room—it really enhanced my comfort.
Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, and basic amenities like a fridge and kettle were provided. Tap water is safe to drink in Japan, so that’s a big plus. While there’s no in-room coffee, I brought my own instant coffee. Alternatively, there’s a lounge on the 12th floor offering green tea and basic drip coffee—what it lacks in strength, the lovely view makes up for.
The tram stop is just outside, giving easy access to major sights, but I also walked a lot and really enjoyed exploring the area on foot.
Lastly, a small detail: I kindly pointed out some dust in the A/C vent to one of the housekeeping staff, who was very sweet and receptive. It’s clear the staff takes pride in maintaining a welcoming and clean environment.
