Schönes Hotel in schöner Landschaft
Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit klarer offener Struktur in einer schönen Landschaft mit alten Bäumen und einem Reisfeld. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals waren sehr wohltuend.

Very expensive stay for not much facilities. Staff barely able to understand requests. No timely answers for queries before we arrived at the property. Staff do not go out of the way to make your experience pleasant at all. Breakfast was below average. For the expensive pricing, you would expect a better spread, but no. Cleanliness of property is also below average when you compare with similar properties in the price range.

Lovely property with very friendly and attentive staff. Issues with cleanliness - dirty towels in room and no hand / face towels, with COVID measures - barely any mask wearers in buffet dining with no hand sanitisation in sight despite shared use of serving spoons, with no enforcement or basic measures in place. Also had photos of jacuzzi bathtub in photos but no jacuzzi in the room - there was a switch in the bathroom that was labelled Jacuzzi but did nothing.

Okropny hotel z ładnym basenem
Hotel ratował tylko piękny ale stary i zimny basen wśód pół ryżowych. Bałagan i brud. Kelnerzy w brudnych ubraniach. Śniadanie okropne. Nie było co zjeść. Soki lały się po podłodze a jajka walały pod nogami. Management tylko czekał na godzinę 9 am by zasiąść do stołu. Brud na restauracji. Ceny bardzo wysokie.

We stayed one night at the Sigiriana Resort by Thilanka and had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly, we ate dinner and breakfast which was delicious and they even organised us a driver to Kandy. The pool area looks beautiful!

Lovely, modern design hotel with great pool and gardens. Good selection of food in the restaurant although we have had better on our trip. Villa room was comfortable although the sofa certainly needed replacing. About 10 mins tuk tuk ride from main attractions.

The resort itself is gorgeous, the pool is lovely, the food was pretty decent, and the staff were friendly and super helpful! They helped us organize a safari nearby, a tuktuk to Lion's Rock (Sigiriya), and a taxi back to Colombo. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back myself!

運良く部屋がアップグレードされてて、思いがけずバスタブに浸かることができました。夕方チェックイン後、プールに入りましたが、建物の影でプールに日差しが当たらず少し肌寒かったのは、残念でしたが、レストランのスタッフは、皆さんフレンドリーで総合的には、いいホテルだと思いました。食事も美味しし、2階にあるので、景色がいい。

We were lied to constantly. This hotel doesnt like Foreigners. We had 2 rats in our room going into our luggage locking for food. The front desk guy Christopher keep lying about the hotel being full and we couldnt move. The hotel was largely empty. I am going to ask you for a complete refund of the money i paid you.

Beautiful place but!...
Beautiful hotel in wonderful area Crazy swimming pool in the rice field Big confortable room BUT: it must have been a beautiful hotel in the past but when you look better there is big lack of reparation! Everything should need some work in the room : walls, roof, furnitures, fridge out of order.... And the service is really under the level of the hotel: only one little bottle provide the first day, second day no tower in the bathroom; I asked 4 times an adaptator for plug electricity (because they have ONLY locals ones in the room) and finally I had to go in town and buy one! But honestly for the price I paid it was still a good stay

Great start to a vacation
The views were gorgeous. The location was serene. It's far enough away to have peace and quiet but near enough to popular sites to enjoy whatever type of trip you're looking for. The dinner and breakfast buffets were delicious and had a nice variety to choose from. The service was friendly and welcoming. The on-site Ayurvedic massage was heavenly, and the pool at sunset with a cocktail was an experience to remember. The room was comfortable, the wifi worked well enough, and the shower had good temperature and pressure. Overall, a terrific stay. We stayed here for one night at the start of a two-week trip around Sri Lanka, and it was the perfect way to start.

Beautiful setting, let down by patchy service
This is a beautiful hotel set in stunning and extensive grounds. Check-in was great and our room was spacious and clean. However this hotel is let down by the restaurant. For dinner, we were told we had to use the buffet which is Rs.2200 (rather a lot for Sri Lanka). This would’ve been fine however the vegetarian options at the buffet were extremely poor. They were a cheap looking pizza under a heat lamp, pasta with pesto (student food), and some dhal. Definitely not worth it if you are vegetarian. So my boyfriend and I both ordered the same main and a couple of small sides from the a la carte. When the food came, however, the waiter only bought one main. We explained that we ordered two, and he then argued with us telling us that we only ordered one (why would we only order one main meal for two people?). Instead of bringing another meal, he went to the buffet and brought over a plate of stale bread rolls, put them down on the table and said these are free. We ended up sharing one meal. I then ordered a dessert. The dessert order was ignored even when I asked for it twice. Eventually, he came over with the dessert with melted ice cream, and told us we had to pay right then and we couldn’t put it on the room. He wouldn’t give me the total I had to work it out with pen and paper. Then he TOOK MY CARD away and came back and told me to put my PIN in but wouldn’t tell me the amount. Very dodgy. I had to complain to the manager. Also air con and fan barely worked in room. Poor.

Helheten var bra, det som var mindre bra. Frukost, torr tråkig ofta slut. När vi skulle vidare ville vi ha en taxi, då kunde man bara välja på hotellets bil, först skulle vi få en van som skulle ta 10 minuter det slutat med en liten bil efter nästan en timmes väntat.

Lovely extensive grounds, large rooms with comfortable beds but the bathrooms need upgrading and the buffet style meals were the only choice of food.

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful . So peaceful. Beautiful room , great food . The pool was magnificent after a mornings sightseeing . Very friendly staff , special mention to Manjula who took good care of us poolside . Nothing to fault here . Excellence all round

Very nice and quite place with beautiful garden and pool. Staff was very friendly. The best base for trips to Sigiria, Dambulla Cave Temple, Polonaruwa, Piddurangala... We had a wonderful stay.

Great base for touring
Gorgeous setting! Rooms very comfortable with good amenities. Pool and suppoundings idilic! Perfect for a base to visit we stayed 2 nights. Bed comfortable. Dinner and breakfast served as buffet which got busy and noisy. Best to sit outside to avoid the crush! Food nice but not a pleasant experience.

Swimming pool was great apart from that the whole stay was disappointing. The manager wasn’t helpful atall and we had hundreads of ants in our beding everyday. We had to have our bedding changed every night and wasn’t acceptable atall
