Average for the price
Unfortunately our first impression was disappointing as the cabin was not cleaned well at all. There were some dead bugs, wrappers, and a lot of dirt that we had to sweep and vacuum up when we arrived. The dishes were put away but we found out later some of those and the cutting board wasn’t clean. The grill was so dirty that when we started it the bottom under the grates went on fire so we couldn’t use that. And finally, my son slept downstairs on the couch after the first couple of nights due to crawling bug on the bed. The Pac man machine is broken as well. Positives: the hot tube, fire pit, and fire place were enjoyed. The sheets and towels were clean and the beds comfortable. The WiFi and TVs were good. Both porches were nice to sit and read. The area including Dahlonega is nice as was the weather. Unfortunately most of all this was conveyed to the owners and response was swift but only included that she was “heart broken.” All in all we made the best of a week of hiking outdoors and relaxing on vacation.

Girls’ Weekend
We took a girls’ trip to visit all the wineries and spend some time relaxing in the hot tub! This was a much needed relaxation weekend, and the property was so cozy (such a perfect fit for us) ! Highly recommended!

Weekend Getaway
Weekend getaway a couple hours from home. Convenient to Dahlonega and Helen. Winter time hot tub relaxation and chilling by the fireplace. It was bitter cold but we didn’t mind since we planned to limit our outside activities.

Decent, but not as nice as described
The home was adequate, but not what we expected. The kitchen was not well equipped at all. The roaches were unwelcome visitors. Directions for leaving were not very clear. We guessed what to do with dirty linens. We would not go there again.

Great, cozy cabin!
We had a great weekend stay in Dahlonega, GA! The cabin was perfect for our families and three boys. They loved the basement with games! We had everything we needed and would definitely recommend this spot to others. Wish the weather had been better so we could have enjoyed more of the property, but regardless, we loved it!

Great space for our girls trip~
We booked this place for the location and look/feel of it in the listing and thought we could have as many as 8 people on our girls trip. We ended up with 5, but could have had the 8 (as long as some didn't mind sharing a bed). The home was comfortable, with lots of great touches - snacks, coffee/tea, throw blankets to add to the coziness, fire starter for the fireplace, towels for the hot tub, lots of pillow choices for sleeping... they've thought of everything! Even leaving the condiments in the fridge for use if you needed them! We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay there again if we go back to the area.

Perfect cabin to explore Dahlonega
We had a great stay while we were exploring Dahlonega and Helen for our annual fall vacation. The cabin was set up well for our family and we enjoyed watching the deer walk by from the hot tub. Kitchen was nicely appointed so we could cook some meals and close enough to town to go out for dinner and still make it home. Perfect balance

Felt like a treehouse in the woods but close to everything
This is a lovely cabin in the trees. We were 2 couples with more than enough space. The porches are cozy especially the screened in porch that feels like sitting in a tree house. Beds were comfy, plenty of hot water, and such an awesome location. Seemed like we were way off the. Beaten path with beautiful woods and privacy but was with in a few miles of several winerys in one direction or downtown Dahlonega in the other.

Relaxing getaway
The cabin was well equipped with lots of nice touches-plenty of extra pillows and throw blankets, cute decorating. The kids loved the dart board and we all enjoyed the hot tub. My favorite spot was the screen porch, perfect for morning coffee. The Carsons were very helpful and quickly responded to questions. The neighborhood was easy to navigate, no narrow steep roads, and an easy drive to campus, wineries, and hiking spots.

Short But Sweet
Wish we could've stayed the entire weekend! Our anniversary trip to Dahlonega was just what we needed and the Carson's cabin made it very special. From the cleanliness of the property to the goodies and the definitely the hot tub, we had everything we needed for a quick one night stay. We appreciated the kind communication from the owners as well. Beautiful area, as we've never been to Dahlonga before. Great place that we'd love to bring our kids to next time!

Perfect mountain cabin inside and outside!
Came from Chicago for a family wedding at the Wolf Mountain Vineyard and couldn't have asked for more. The cozy yet roomy interior and exterior features (big sitting front porch, back screened in deck and hot tub!) nestled into the woods with a nicely carved out trail to the stream was amazing! Our dog enjoyed the walks to and into the stream that glittered with gold? You never know! If ever we're back, a Carson cabin it will be! Thank you so much for being better than any hotel and for sharing your property with us.

Perfect mom’s getaway
We were so happy to find this property. It’s quaint and rustic whimsical feel was perfect for our group. Communication was great with the owners and the neighbors were great. Great getaway!
Our group of 8 people plus 2 dogs enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was well stocked, nicely decorated and had comfortable beds. We cooked at the cabin as well as ate out. The dogs enjoyed the trail out back as well as the local hikes. There is so much to do within a short distance, we will have to return to hit the rest of my list! Spirits Tavern and Shenanigans Pub were both great, as well as the Consolidated Gold Mine Tour for both kids and adults. It was nice to have the little trail, creek, x-box and hot tub for plenty to do while at the cabin as well. Great communication with hosts with a welcoming feel. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Mountain View cabin! It was relaxing, cozy and private. We loved hearing the birds in the morning and the hot tub was awesome! Mikyla was a great host. Perfect Relaxation
This is the 2nd Carson Cabin we stayed in and it was the perfect vacation, close enough to activities and far enough away for peace and quiet. Very easy to rent. Had okra Ty of pictures. We needed something for a 93 yo to be able to get into the house. Only had 2 steps and had a lower level room. She loved the 2 porches.

Fantastic Cabin!
We had a short trip to this time to Dahlonega but enjoyed every minute of it! This cabin had everything we needed. We used the fireplace every night, the teenagers loved the board games and playstation located downstairs. The hot tub was wonder to relax in after a long day of shopping. We brought our pet along for the short trip and it was fantastic! Cabin was easy to get to and was in a quit subdivision. Will consider coming back to this cabin again.!

Great Cozy Cabin!
My family enjoyed our stay at your cozy cabin! We appreciated the little extras like the snacks and the welcome gift. The owner was quick to respond and helped remedy the issue of the hot tub not working.
