Lots of privacy
We enjoyed our stay at altitude adjustment. The views were beautiful and property felt very private. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and there were lots of puzzles and games. The master bed was comfy but the other neds were subpar. However the couches were comfy enough to sleep on. I would recommend

Nice cabin like house.
First off, pay close attention to the instructions. Ours stated not to rely on GPS. They were accurate. I tried to find the house and it took us some 5 miles out of our way. Second, make sure you are ok with stairs. This house, although very nice, has a lot of them. Third, enjoy your stay. We did. There’s a hot tub and games and magazines. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and even quite a bit of spices. Everything was clean and neat. Beautiful weather, too.

Loved it
We loved this rental and had a great stay. Everyone loved the hot tub (even in 20* weather!). The house is very well laid out and has most anything you need. I would suggest they get some more silverware especially serving spoons but other than that it was great. Would strongly suggest you drive down to West Jefferson during your stay.

Relaxing Getaway
This rental was great, spacious and relaxing. It was in the middle of no where but only 5 minutes from the delicious Shatley Springs. The house was clean and the check-in was easy. The house and the hot tub have great views of the mountains. We would for sure stay there again! Highly recommend!

Great place for our annual trip
Altitude Adjustment was just what we needed for our annual "Girls Trip" with our 3 granddaughters. Plenty of privacy, the kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils, the hot tub was a hit and there was lots of space to gather or have some quiet time. Close to river activities.

Enjoyable Stay, House Needs Attention
We had a great time and attended a local family reunion event. The house was clean, but overall poorly lit. The lamps and bulbs were inadequate. The beds in the basement and the bunk room were not appropriate for adults. The basement room was damp and had no windows, so we didn't use. The bunk bed was unstable so we put the top mattress on the floor. The hot tub light was not working and the hot tub was old. We called for service on the hot tub and someone showed up very quickly. The area has great things to do: We enjoyed a day on the river and hiking at Grayson Highlands State Park. Overall, we would not choose this unit for 5 adults again.

Great location with beautiful Mountain View. Great house with huge living space with fireplace and big windows to enjoy the beautiful view. Well equipped kitchen made getting everyone something to eat easy. Overall a lovely stay!

Awesome stay in the mountains
The cabin was awesome and the property management were easy to access. Our only issue was that we had "extra friends" in the cabin. Both nights we spotted a mouse in the house once in the kitchen and then in the basement while we were sleeping. Very unsettling, I recommend some exterminators go to the home, we also had a lot of very large ants in the kitchen area. Other than that it was a lovely stay, and we tried to understand that we are in the mountains so "friends" may be around. It was a great get away and time to really be alone.

Perfection on a mountain
This cabin is absolutely gorgeous! It is super secluded. The view is breathtaking. The cabin was spotless, very neat and clean. The property manager was super sweet and helpful. Very nice for a family getaway. There are games and toys for kids to play with. Plenty of outside room for little ones to play. The hot tub is huge! The kitchen is well stocked and equipped. There is a Walmart about 16 mins out, as well as a food lion for anything you may need or forgot. My family will DEFINITELY return! I’d give 20 stars if I could!

Great Cabin Getaway
This cabin was beautiful, clean, cozy and in a great location. This listing looked JUST like the photos so there were no surprises. The check-in and check-out process was simple and seamless; and the house had everything (pots, pans, pizza cutter, etc...) we needed. The only complaint I had was the stuffy smell in some rooms and cobwebs near some of the window sills. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Wonderful getaway
I was looking for a mountain getaway with family from Florida & Ohio to bring in the New Year. We weren’t disappointed! The cabin is absolutely beautiful & very well stocked with everything we needed to spend the week. The kids enjoyed exploring the woods, we all loved the crackling fire in the massive fireplace & the hot tub was so relaxing looking out over the mountains. I would definitely stay there again.

Great for a getaway
Very cute house with a smaller kitchen, but still functional. There is no bathroom in the basement, so those sleeping downstairs need to share the bathroom on the main level. Overall, the met our needs for a quick weekend getaway.

Very nice, but could be better with some changes.
Pros: location, beautiful huge living room, very nice kitchen, hot tub, plenty of room for a family, huge deck, beautiful view. Cons: lighting is poor outside, also dark in living room. Very old hot tub ( still works, but kinda beat up ). Floors upstairs creak loudly and a floorboard in upstairs bathroom is separating from subfloor. ( not dangerous, but looks bad ). Both queen mattresses are hard... ( HARD ). Last, but not least... the cardinal that attacks the living room windows at least 500 times a day, ( I swear I’m not exaggerating ), has to be relocated at the very least.

The house was very clean and we enjoyed our stay! Our only complaints was no lights on the deck around the hot tub, which made it hard to enjoy the deck and hot tub at night and the air hockey table was in the garage on its side so we assumed it was broken and was something we was kinda looking forward to. The dump was only about a 5 minute drive from the house which was perfect. The upstairs does stay hotter than the rest of the house but they do already have box fans in all the rooms so that was nice. It was very quiet and very easy driveway to get in on. Overall it was a nice place to stay other than a few things that could have been different.

We have been booking rentals for 10 years with our 5 grandchildren. This home was extremely clean with beds for each child. The kitchen was the best equipped I have ever had and the best stove. Due to the virus we had to spend all of our time at the home. The hot tub was a huge blessing. Highly recommend this home.

Awesome cabin, great area!
This is a great cabin. The layout is great and offers a lot of space. The cabin was stocked with all appliances, utensils, etc we needed. My husband and I found the beds to be a little less comfy than we are used to but our kids thought they were fine. The location is great for seclusion and great Mountain View’s. We ventured out to near by parks and towns for an action filled vacation. A storm knocked out power for about an hour but when we contacted the property management, they were very responsive and helped with what they could. We were happy to end our days in this place. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice mountain getaway.

Beautiful... but a couple missing amenities
A great house- very relaxing on the deck. Hot tub has some jet issues but does run and makes for a great evening. But when you pay a processing fee above the daily rate for a property management company, you expect all listed amenities to be available. The propane was out for both grills at the house with no back up, and the air hockey/ping pong table had a broken leg. Needless to say the kids were disappointed with the later, but it is a very nice property!

Family Get Away
Everything was good but.... someone wanted to show the house to a prospective buyer while we were there,(a little awkward) and they had the landscape crew cut the grass while we were there too. We were all on the porch talking over the mowers and trimmers. Not that big of deal but not how I would do business.

Beautiful cabin and views. There was a slight hiccup with housekeeping, but once we called after hours when we arrived it, staff quickly sent someone out to clean and the problem was fixed. Besides that, great stay!
