This is a wonderful resort! We were so impressed by how attentive everybody was to our needs and making our stay amazing. We would like to single out Gondola restaurant… specifically staff members Aidee, Gabriel and Marco who continually went above and beyond! Ehdie, who works breakfast, was outstanding as well. We will be back! Are only negative aspect would be the high-pressure sales regarding joining their programs.

3rd time we stayed here. Staff, property, service was great. Only negative is that it was hard to get chairs by the pool. People were putting towels out at 6 am!

I actually liked how small it was - I've stayed at larger resorts where you had to walk far just to get coffee. Also, the 24 hour room and mini bar service was great. The food was not that good so if that's important, I'd recommend somewhere else

Gorgeous property with wonderful staff. Our room was large and very clean with a super comfy bed. Food at all the restaurants was amazing, especially liked the Indian restaurant. Pool side lunch menu was just ok. Lobby bar and sweet shop were our favorites! Espresso martinis at lobby bar were delicious!! Special shout out to Fernando on the activity team, Jennifer and Jorge pool/lunch/breakfast servers. Also, the housecleaning staff were the best we’ve ever had! Our only disappointment was that there was only one outdoor dining options. The Italian, Mexican, Indian and Asian restaurants were all indoors. We love to dine outside in the warm evenings with the sea breeze. We knew there was no beach which we did miss however the snorkeling right in front of the property was fantastic!!

The staff at the Cozumel Palace made our stay a wonderful experience. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the ocean and the nights entertainment was great. Close to the airport. Had a real personal feel to it as the staff came to know us. We want to thank our hostess most evenings Martha who took the time to care for our sons needs, Jorge,Argenis, Fili, Rodrigo, Alan, Charlie, for all their hard work in making our week there so special.

Waited 30 to check in for only 1 person in front of us! Booked a queen bed for my husband and I and we were told there none left unless we wanted to upgrade to a honeymoon sweet for $800. Then our friends checked in right behind us were given a king bed without any question. They eventually moved us rooms but what a hassle. Waited hours for food. Drinks were always empty, Indian food, coffee stand crepes, and Asian food restaurants were great but all the other food was just okay. I just didn’t feel like this resort was as accommodating as others I have been too.

The hotel staff is great! The drink service around the pool is very good! The opportunity for improvement is an upgrade to the beds. Ours was sinking in the center. Otherwise we had an amazing week and loved the pool! Thanks Palace staff!

I am sad to write this since we stayed there 10 years ago and had the most amazing experience. We booked an "ocean view" room through Expedia. There are about 8 rooms on the first floor that DO NOT match the pictures shown on Expedia for these rooms. Mainly there is no useable balcony as they are on the ground level overlooking the pool area. There is a door with approximately 2' to the rail. Not the balcony with hammock as pictured. We requested a change and were told we needed to upgrade to an "ocean front room". Note the listings above: "ocean view" and "ocean front" are pictured as the exact same room.... My mistake was paying the $450 upgrade assuming I could work it out with the hotel or Expedia the next day. I notified the hotel management through expedia the next day and throughout the trip was not able to get any resolution. The whole thing felt like a scam. I was told through emails with management to speak with an agent at the guest service desk, and was given a name. This agent then proceeded to play dumb. We are still working to resolve this through Expedia. Disappointed in the hotel and Expedia for allowing that listing to remain as is. Also mad at myself for not paying attention to the similar reviews I read before booking. Read them There is also constant harassment to attend a timeshare presentation for resort credit that you cant use. Very annoying and a new development. The service staff outside of the front desk area are great however.

My husband and I just returned from a short stay at the Palace (our first). We liked that it was a smaller all inclusive and chose it based on the reviews. Thankfully it was not a busy weekend. The resort is very clean and well maintained. The staff are very guest centered. They almost anticipate a need and are ready to help at any moment. The room (3rd floor) was wonderful and the bed slept so well we decided we need a new mattress at home. Had one issue with the toilet early one morning and it was fixed within 10 minutes. Housekeeping was amazing. The food was good for the most part. We really enjoyed the Pan-American restaurant (didn’t visit the other restaurants except for the buffet and room service ). The drinks are delicious but I suspect a little watered down. I read in a previous review that stated if you go with no expectations, you will enjoy it and I agree. I’m guessing that if you are reading Trip Advisor reviews, you are attempting to wisely spend your vacation funds. We loved it here and felt that it was well worth the money. The most impressive thing here is the staff. They are hands down phenomenal and worthy of generous tips. Most of the other guests were middle to late aged with some younger families sprinkled in. It is a quieter resort for those seeking relaxation not 24/7 entertainment. We took a private Jeep tour (not booked through the hotel) and enjoyed getting to see the rest of the island.

Our room door wouldn’t close. We had security come by and tell us for our safety we needed to keep it closed when we showed her she just shrugged and walked off.
