The main living areas are built for togetherness and for slipping away. The kitchen comes fully equipped — a complete cookware set, serving platters, and all the everyday essentials — and opens onto a large island with barstool seating, right for a slow breakfast or staging a group dinner. Gather in the living room, then drift to the second sitting area when someone wants a book and a little quiet. There's a dedicated desk too, a real perk for remote workers, students, or anyone clearing a few emails before heading back outside. For all that seclusion, Coupeville is a ten-minute drive up the road, and it's a quietly captivating place — one of the oldest towns in Washington. Its historic waterfront and landmark wharf sit right on Penn Cove, the same sheltered water the region's celebrated mussels come from, and Front Street is an easy stroll end to end, lined with galleries, shops, and cafés. Closer to home, Fort Casey State Park is barely a mile off, with historic gun batteries, the Admiralty Head Lighthouse, and a driftwood beach. Fort Ebey adds miles of forest and coastal trail about fifteen minutes north, and the bluff trail at Ebey's Landing is right there as well, serving up some of the finest views on the island: open water on one side, rolling farmland on the other. Push a little further and you'll find Greenbank Farm to the south and the bridge-spanned cliffs of Deception Pass State Park at the island's north end, roughly half an hour up SR 20. When you'd rather leave the island entirely, the Port Townsend ferry loads a couple of miles south.

- Whidbey Island is home to a naval air base. On a few weekdays each month (and occasionally in the evening), you may hear loud flight training. The Navy does not conduct training on weekends or holidays and typically publishes the schedule one week in advance.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
