Multi-level decks wrap the home with lounge seating, outdoor dining, a gas grill, and forest views in every direction. A private hot tub sits tucked beneath the trees, ideal for late-night stargazing, while the wood-burning fire pit is a favorite gathering spot for stories and s'mores.

Moon Room (Main Floor): King bed with window AC, located adjacent to the home's spa-style bathroom with jetted tub
Elk Room (Main Floor): King bed, deck access
Treehouse Room (Main Floor): Two queen beds + workstation, window AC
Galaxy Room (Upstairs): Queen-over-Queen bunk + two twins + arcade & pinball, window AC
Northern Lights Room (Upstairs): Queen bed, window AC
Sunset Room (Basement): Queen bed + private walk-out patio, naturally cool year-round

❄️ Climate & Comfort
Most homes in this rural Pennsylvania region were built without central air conditioning due to our typically mild summers, so we have added individual window units throughout the home to keep guests comfortable. A large window AC unit in the main living room helps cool the primary gathering areas, and we have added individual window units to nearly every bedroom that can accommodate one. Two bedrooms are exceptions: the Sunset Room in the basement stays naturally cool being below grade on three sides, and the Elk Room does not have a window unit due to its custom sideways-opening windows and fire code egress requirements. During occasional summer heat waves, we recommend the Sunset Room and Elk Room for lighter sleepers or those least affected by warmer temperatures. Ceiling fans and portable fans are also provided throughout the home.
