„Really lovely stay - friendly staff in a small pub in Combe Down open for evening meals during the week, and open for lunch onwards at the weekend. We had a lovely welcome, preordered breakfast for the next morning which was really delicious, and was shown to our room upstairs. A lovely view of the white horse in the distance and a comfy bed, with lovely furnishings. We would stay again.“

„We had a fantastic stay here in one of the new deluxe rooms. The room was incredibly comfortable, very well furnished and spotlessly clean with a large bathroom. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of hot dishes (special praise for the eggs benedict) alongside fruit juices, pastries, yogurt etc. We also had an evening meal in the pub which was again very nice.

„A lovely room. Light airy with big bathroom, comfy bed, excellent complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits in spacious room, with great view. Breakfast and evening meal all homemade/cooked. High standard and delicious.“

Very spacious, but we felt that the disabled toilet and special wash hand basin were too close making it a bit difficult to easily use the toilet. The ...

„Die Küche ist exzellent. Auch vegetarisch und vegan wird angeboten. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Die Räumlichkeiten sind schön, alt und gepflegt. Ein spannendes Gebäude.“

„We were very disappointed. Lack of maintenance meant room was very poor. Room was vvv cold, we were given an extra duvet. Windows didn't shut properly. Bedside lamp didn't work. Shower head not fixed to wall. Room was small but we expected that.“

„Due to age of building plus isolation it had some unique qualities but the staff were all lovely and the stay was enjoyable.“

„Great place to stay while visiting the Cotswolds. Room was spacious and clean and food in the hotel was excellent. I would definitely recommend.“
