We stayed at the oyster house this past weekend, and the house itself was beautiful, but we had numerous issues that I reported the day we checked in and then again the day after. I spoke to three different people on the phone and never received a call back. The grill was filthy and did not have a propane tank so we had to go buy one. I was told when I called Friday that they didn’t know if the house came with one or if I had to bring my own.?.? What the heck??? The golf cart that came with the house for us to use did not have good regular brakes and the parking brake didn’t work at all so we had to take a rock with us to put behind the wheel to keep it from rolling when we went anywhere. The pool was very dirty and had so much chlorine in it that we had to buy my granddaughter goggles just so she could swim in it (burned her eyes). The pool guy came by Saturday morning, but did not clean the pool, I had to get a dead frog out of it after he left. Very disappointed with the customer service (or lack of it) that we received, especially since we spent more money, renting this house than planned because of the golf cart and pool. We definitely left everything (except the pool because we could only get out what the net could get and the golf cart because we weren’t going to fix the brakes) better than we found it. Would not recommend this house as long as the current property management company is in place.
