  • Kommen Sie in dem hellen, neu gestalteten und unterhaltsamen Surf Shack! Großartig für Familien, die schöne Erinnerungen machen möchten. Dieses 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 Badezimmer Wohnung verfügt über einen Spaß, bunte Surf Thema perfekt für jeden Strandurlaub. Es liegt in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums von Port Aransas, der Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und des Vergnügens. Es wurde alles unternommen Diese Ferienwohnung familienfreundlicher zu machen. Das Layout umfasst ein Hauptschlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss mit einem King-Size-Möbelensemble an der Küste und einem an der Wand montierten HDTV. Im Obergeschoss befindet sich ein großes Schlafzimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten, jeweils mit einem Rollbett für 6 Personen. Das zweite Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss umfasst ein Queensize-Bett und einen an der Wand befestigten HDTV. Die Wohnung verfügt über eine Waschmaschine und Trockner, Küchengeräte aus Edelstahl, Granit, Bambus-Stil Verkleidungen. Hauptsitzbereich bietet Direct TV und WLAN. Die Gemeinde verfügt über ein exotisches Dekor, zwei Poolbereiche, einen Spielbereich für Kinder und einen Bar-B-Que-Bereich. Sie müssen jedoch unbedingt Holzkohle und leichtere Flüssigkeiten mitbringen. Insgesamt kann diese Wohnung 10 Personen bequem schlafen. Der Eigentümer gewährt allen aktiven Militärfamilien, Feuerwehrleuten und Lehrern 5% Ermäßigung.

    Dieses Gerät verfügt über Parkplätze für 3 Autos. Alle zusätzlichen Autos werden abgeschleppt.

Im Januar 2019 wurden die Renovierungsarbeiten an diesem Gerät abgeschlossen, und der Eigentümer hat die neuen aktualisierten und schönen Fotos noch nicht veröffentlicht. This place had beds for all my kids, none of them had to share which is so rare. Great location to beach and food. We did not want to leave! Only suggestion I would give is to bring a few extra blankets, the two trundles didn’t have blankets but luckily our kids like to bring their own blankets for comfort.

We were able to check in two hours early, which was very nice and convenient. We loved having the pool in our backyard. Such easy access. I Loved having the fenced in area for our dog. Will Definitely be back.

The unit is also spacious. BUT the unit smells of heavy mold and mildew. All air vents are covered in mold along with the upstairs closet ceiling being full of mold that looks to have been painted over before. There is also exposed wiring in the upstairs bedroom from the ceiling fan. Upstairs shower floor feels very weak underfoot. There was also build up of dust on light fixtures and fans. The kitchenware was distastefully kept.

Overall, our experience was good. The condo was very cute and well decorated. The location was great. The grounds were clean and well maintained. The pool(s) were awesome, and the kids just loved them. We would likely rent here again, if a few things were remedied. 1. The hot tub heater was down for maintenance. Bummer. 2. Coffee pot was broken. 3. Blood stain on my wife's pillow. 4. The queen and king beds, were atrocious. The queen bed felt like sleeping on a marshmallow. My wife and I would wake up smushed together in the center, as the mattress had formed into a shallow "V" shape. The king bed was the squeakiest piece of furniture I have heard in my 40 years on earth. I slept upstairs, the king bed was downstairs, and I could hear every move my friend and his wife made during the night. I could hear every adjustment. I'm not kidding, it was that loud. I am pretty easy, but when it comes to the above items, I can not let them slide. Remedy these and we would stay likely again. Thanks.

Beach getaway

The property was nice. Had everything stocked in the kitchen that you could ever need. Great access to the pool. Big enough for our kids and grandkids. Only a few complaints but not deal breakers. Hot water heater stopped working the first day but maintenance responded VERY quickly and got the issue resolved. The water faucet in the downstairs tub did not work. Seemed stripped. Maintenance looked at it and said it would be something that would definitely need to be fixed. I added it to our checkout list. The dishwasher would not work. Came on for a few minutes just enough to fill the bottom with water and could not ever get it to drain. My daughter has the exact same one so we know we were doing everything correctly. No big deal just hand washed everything in super hot water. I also reported on our checkout list. All of this is just normal things that happen when you own a home. The only real complaint was the beds. I read about them on other reviews. They are the kind that you constantly roll to the middle😂 Woke up sore every day but not a deal breaker. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again. The whole process of checking in, out, and maintenance was really easy. Everyone was really nice. House is very convenient to everything.

After 2 other not so good stays w VRBO places this one was amazing. Great location, amazing property, sparkly clean, well maintained, well appointed and beautifully decorated. I can’t say enough how good this property management was. Good communication, easy to work with, checked during our to check if we were satisfied and so professional.

Fourth of July weekend

Overall we had a really great stay, one of the pools were right outside it, and it was very nice and enjoyable. Everyone at the property, other guest, were nice and friendly. The only thing we weren’t aware of was the fact that you couldn’t rent a biggie, due to the fact that you can’t cross/drive on the highway, which I wish would have been told beforehand. Everything was nice and clean, the fridge had an Icemaker/water dispenser that either didn’t or was locked, so we couldn’t use it. The mgr of the property gave off a little bit of a creep vibe, when we were in the pool, just my family, he decided to go out and clean and spray around the pool area, he poured cleaning solutions in and didn’t have the courtesy to ask us to get out, and we got in the pool around noon, and the pool didn’t open until 10, which I feel could have been done before it opened. Honestly it was weird, we felt that he was watching us in a sense, and also annoying as to the fact that we paid just as much as anyone else, and we’ve stayed at multiple properties in port a and that’s never happened before.

Overall an okay experience

Upon check-in we were told of an overflow parking area. When we went to the area is was just a small patch of overgrown grass that appeared to be on another owners property. When I called shortly after checking in it was after hours, the answering service didn’t have any information on parking and told me to call in the morning. So we were taking a big risk of getting towed as they make it clear that the HOA has a strict towing rule. They never got back to us about the overflow parking. The morning after check in we discovered the dishwasher to be broke and called for maintenance during business hours, over our 4 day stay no one from maintenance came to fix this. The beds were very high and difficult to get onto to and no step stools were present. My parents in their 60s can not go upstairs so we had them in the master room downstairs but even their bed was too difficult to get onto. The beds were not comfortable, you could feel the springs and sinking holes in them like they were worn. Seems like they tried to put an extra padded foam on top which made it difficult for the fitted sheet to stay put onto the bed throughout the night, a bit bothersome to sleep on. For reference, it is a pet friendly place but there is no grass area for your dog to use the restroom. Overall, cleanliness and quick access to the pool was what made the stay worthwhile.

Awesome For Families

Super awesome for families especially with small children. There’s a park for the littles that’s a short walk from house. The pool is directly in front of the house so you don’t have to walk far to enjoy a dip with the kids.

Not what was expected

Having the pool right outside the door was amazing however, the unit leaves a lot to be desired. I’m not sure what the bedding is made of but it has got to be sandpaper. I’ve never experienced something so rough. I’m pretty sure I’ve lost multiple layers of my skin. The master bed was also wrapped in plastic? So every time someone turned over, it literally echoed throughout the unit and made you cold with condensation at night. The master bed is also best described as a king sized hammock because it dips in the middle. Now, the echo in the unit is what really got to us. There are no rugs on polished concrete. Yes, it’s easy to clean (for them) but it does not soften the sounds. There is also no curtains over the windows and spotlights shining right into them at night. The blinds do not help! Also, if you book, bring your own cleaning supplies!! There are no sprays provided to wipe the kitchen down with besides a glass cleaner and a random bottle of flea killer that was very concerning to see.
