Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Maldron South Mall Cork City war insgesamt gut. Einzig die fehlende Parkmöglichkeit und das nicht saubere Geschirr beim Morgenessen war störend. Die Zimmer, die Betten, die Ausstattung und die Bäder waren Top. Ohne Auto würden wir dieses Hotel wieder wählen.

Schön, sauber, freundlich und sehr gute Lage
Die Lage ist toll, denn alle Geschäfte, Restaurants und Pubs/Bars sind zu Fuss einfach erreichbar. Das Hotel ist neu und das sieht man überall. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und die Dame hat uns ein fantastisches, ruhiges Zimmer mit genialer Aussicht zugeteilt. Wir haben sehr gut und ruhig geschlafen, das Badezimmer war geräumig und gefiel auch optisch sehr. Die Bar im Hotel und die kleine Kaffeetheke Red Beans waren gut. Essen im Haus können wir nicht beurteilen. Garage ist halt etwas entfernt. Wir würden wieder hier übernachten. Dank eines anderen Gastes mit der überaus törichten Idee, im Zimmer eine E-Zigarette zu verdampfen, wissen wir jetzt auch, dass die Rauchmelder einwandfrei funktionieren.

Beautiful Hotel - room for improvement in Service
The hotel itself is new and located in walking distance to lots of restaurants & pubs. Service seems a bit unorganized - probably not yet up to normal level due to being a new hotel - but they are friendly and try to help. Breakfast is below standard for this type of hotel - not too many choices.

Hotel was modern, clean and had nice eating and drinking areas. Parking is tricky but we parked in the nearby carpark. Bed very very comfortable and room nice and quiet at night. Delicious breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel.
