„I absolutely loved this place, the cabin was exactly as it was on the pictures, very clean, bottle of milk ready in the fridge with tea, coffee and sugar laid out ready. The table was set out like a restaurant table would be. There were dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, new dishcloth and tea towel provided and also a bath towel and hand towel and per person, plenty toilet roll, hand-wash and small bottles of shampoo and body wash. „The lodges are so modern and have everything you could need. Bedrooms at opposite ends of the lodges, both with their own en-suites, gave us space and quiet time away from the kids room. The open plan kitchen/living room was lovely for sitting down for breakfast etc. We spent a whole day at Alton towers, we wished we would have booked a longer stay to get the full benefits of the lodge and the park. „The lodge we stayed in ( badger lodge) was amazing. It came with everything you need to make your stay comfortable for a family of 4. The lodge include a washing machine, hoover, huge freezer and a hair dryer. The hot tub is definitely the highlight of the stay. A guy comes out and explains all the dials and is cleaned on a daily basis. The area overall is good, there is a play area for young children but not much for teenagers to do apart from a quarry trail. The only let down for this place ...

„Our lodge was brilliant, lots of space inside, robes and plenty of towels for the hot tub. Staff were so friendly and helpful and everything was delivered and looked after perfectly. Lodge was really well equipped with everything we needed. Location wise being only 4 miles from Alton Towers was perfect for us and felt like a million miles away after a full day in a busy theme park. Would highly recommend staying in these lodges.“

„Lodge was adequate for our needs as a base for two day trips to Alton Towers. Bedrooms and Bathrooms were great but the living areas and kitchen need some upgrades as the sofas and dining chairs very uncomfortable due to over use. The kitchen was adequate - however the hob didn’t work the oven wasn’t easy to use and there was a dishwasher which was listed so we didn’t bring tablets for that and don’t expect to find a dish cloth to clean or wash dishes.“

„Das Haus liegt ruhig und etwas abseits der anderen Häuser im kleinen, beschaulichen Ort Thorpe bei Ashbourne. Um das Haus herum Wiesen und Berge, sehr gute Wandergelegenheiten in alle Richtungen. Das Haus war erstklassig ausgestattet und wunderschön. Der Pool und die Schwimmhalle waren durchweg beheizt und wahnsinnig toll! Ray war unglaublich hilfsbereit und nett! Wir würden definitiv wieder hier her kommen.“

"The place ist centrally located, has nice personnel and good breakfast. The rooms are small, require rennovation. Both would bei fine, when the price is relatively Low, but the walls were so think and Doors Bad that you would hear everything all night through. The bathroom Doors opened to the inside in a way that i had to squeeze between wall and toilet to Close it and make my way to the toilet. Not reccommendable for more than 1 night."
