Gut: Check-in und Lage
Great location, close to ComFest and all the short north has to offer. So obviously it's a high price for a basic accommodation. Check-in was a breeze. Issues began with living room, however. The only furniture was a futon that was totally collapsed in the middle, so there was not only no place to sit, but that meant we lost a place to sleep for person #3 and we had to scramble to arrange a ride at 11 pm so she could stay elsewhere. It's not my belief that any of this was done intentionally, but no attempt at accommodation for this mess was offered, nor a partial refund (Very reasonably, I only requested the difference between the 2-person and 3-person reservation and the owner wouldn't even grant that.)On top of that, this place requires an exorbitant security deposit. Luckily I had plenty of room on my cc to hold this, but this is pretty much an attempt to extort money from guests as the only way to avoid the huge refundable deposit is to pay the non-refundable damage waiver. For instance, if someone doesn't have 3k of space on their credit card, they are forced to pay the upfront insurance.Would not stay again.
