Thanks for your detailed review! Yes, we are have a private well for water. The water is tested monthly. It has no chlorine or fluoride like treated city water, so it does taste different. Regarding cooking surfaces in the cabins, only the Premium cabins offer a kitchenette. Safe travels!

We are very sorry the room was not to your satisfaction, We repsponded within 15 minutes of your call and completely revamped the room; fully cleaned, new sheets, comforter, etc, vacuumed, mopped, and cleaned the entire room again including the refrigerator and microwave, We feel this was handled in a very prompt and professional manner, so we did not feel compensation was necessary to our already discounted rate (100 per night less than our high season), We are sorry you were not satisfied, and wish you would have expressed such at the time. I personally helped cleaned the room, and introduced myself, so I would have gladly heard your continued concerns had they been expressed. Our apologies.

Thank you for your kind review and suggestions. We apologize about flies. There are about 3 weeks in early fall, when nights start to get cool, that they really seek to get inside. Of course, with guests loading and unloading luggage, etc, doors get left open and in they come! Safe travels.

We are sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction. The products we use are required since Covid, and with over 3000 guests, this was the first complaint.. The same products are used in 1000's of hotels. I did recommend your leave for a meal, open the windows, and turn on the AC or fan. You agreed that was reasonable. I do not believe anything we use would not dissipate in 2 hours, as it is all designed to do so in about 30 minutes. We checked the unit and found no odor.

We are sorry to see this review. So many of the things mentioned don't seem to even to match our property, that it seems as if we may have received this review about another property. If not, we are just very sorry you did not enjoy your experience. We definitely are a self-serve property that provides as much privacy or community as those staying on property choose. We are sorry to hear you were not happy. Regarding windows, there are THREE 36"x36" (3 feet x 3 feet) windows in EVERY room. That is both larger and more windows than many hotels. Only the bathroom has a small window (for privacy). Regarding cancellation, our policy is 50% refund 15-30 days in advance; 100% owed under 14 days in advance. Additionally, we cannot cancel an online reservation, so your cancellation must start where you made your reservation. We are only open 5 months per year, and do strictly adhere to our cancellation policy. This area is booked several months to a year in advance, so filling openings during the season generally doesn't happen as easily as one may assume. Safe travels.
