Gar nicht mal so schlecht
Den vielen negativen Bewertungen zufolge musste man vom Schlimmsten ausgehen. Zum Glück hat sich dies nicht bewahrheitet. Ja, es stimmt: Die Gegend rund ums Motel ist ganz sicher nicht die Beste. Der Fernseher ist aufgrund der schlechten Bildqualität im Prinzip nicht nutzbar. Das gleiche gilt für die Internetverbindung, die immer wieder zusammenbricht. Das war es aber schon mit dem Negativen. Unser Zimmer war frisch renoviert und quasi wie neu. Es war sehr sauber. Auch Geräusche von Außen waren kaum hörbar. Zu Fuß ist man in 5 Minuten mitten in der Stadt. Alles in allem waren wir zufrieden. Insbesondere wenn man berücksichtigt, dass Hotels in der Nähe gerne mal das Dreifache kosten. Fazit: Wir würden das Motel jederzeit wieder buchen, wenn wir in Colorado Springs sind.

Sehr guter Preis. Kleineres Zimmer, mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet (kein Haarföhn). Downtown zu Fuss in 15 Minuten erreichbar. Für uns war es ideal.

If it was possible to give this property a negative zero star, I definitely would! This place is just terrible, from the poor service, there is a sign at the main desk stating to only ring the door bell once or else no one will respond to your request. The rooms were filthy, the towels literally changed color when wet with water, our hand towels had black and yellow spots on them, sheets had spots on them as well, maybe their washing machine isnt working properly, but if thats the case do not stock a room with dirty linen. The area was with constant flow of people, with some sitting outside in the parking lot talking and yelling loadly late at night. I wouldnt dare book a room here again, Id rather sleep in my car if do not have any other options.

Police are always on the property and don't ever let up, you are questioned, name ran and harassed by the police if they are on the property. Not a good feeling. Other then that the staff is excellent Jeff is quite an asset to this property, he warm and understanding and will work with you when everything is going wrong in your life. Other then the police contact I really enjoyed my stay at the Nevada Flats

Thank you for staying with the Nevada Flats. Sometimes police do need to be onsite, however, they are not frequent visitors to our hotel. We are glad you had good experience with our staff, especially Jeff. He goes above and beyond for our guests.

The man checking me in was great. However when I got to the room it had a very strong chemical smell from cleaning supplies and it appears to be transit housing with a lot of people loitering around the property. As a single traveler I ultimately didn’t feel safe and left for another hotel in the area.

Hello and thank you for staying at the Nevada Flats Hotel. We are sorry to hear that the smell of our cleaning supplies did not agree with you. We pride ourselves on clean rooms, but will consider changing our cleaning solution to a more palatable product. We also partner with a non-profit housing provider that provides respite care for those in need. These guests are not "transients", but we understand that may have not been clear. We hope you come back and stay with us again.

We booked. Our reservation was canceled by the hotel 3 hours from check in. Hotels.com helped us secure another booking—however, Nevada Flats decided to still charge us for our stay….that they cancelled. Very unprofessional.

Solid standard motel in a great location very close to downtown, shops, bars. Rooms are basic but clean and quiet and the staff is very helpful. Only downside was the wi-fi wasnt the best. Would definitely stay again.

Not a very nice place to stay
It appeared as if the hotel was housing transient people on some type of drug or alcohol program. The upfront service. was slow, the front door always locked requiring a ring door bell which was not promptly answered. The wi-fi and TV didn't work and nothing was done to correct.

Was told we could check in at 3:30pm, but the door was locked and no one came to help us for 30 min despite ringing the bell. The area didn’t feel safe. We asked for a refund and went elsewhere for the night.

I booked and paid via expedia. Nevada flats charged to my visa an amount they said Expedia shorted them and they refuse to give anything back to me. So i paid a lot more than the price expedia charged me. Expedia was no help either. Stay here if you want double charged.

Check in was nice, fast and easy. The place was clean and we felt safe. However, the air vents need to be cleaned badly. You cannot have the air run at all, because there is a terrible smell coming from the vents. Location is also great, close to the city and the main restaurants and only 8 mins from garden of the gods

We booked the hotel because of the price. It wasn't too bad, however we did have to bring in our own sheets & pillow shams. The ones on our bed had stains on them and the towels did too. Didn't feel very sanitary. The deposit is higher than other hotels we've stayed at & had to call multiple times to get it back. You definitely get what you pay for here. (Cheap price compared to others, but cleanliness could definitely improve.)

The place is nice for the price.
The bathroom shower was out of order. We were supposed to receive a 50% discount in the room and our deposit refunded. It has been a week since we stayed and still have received my money back. The place was nice. We were accommodating by accepting the room and they were accommodating by reducing the price.

As is true of all utilities, sometimes the internet is not working or slow due to issues outside of our control. In these cases, the staff is trained to be helpful, but they are not always able to fix things. King bed was comfortable, new floors, bathroom updated EXCEPT the shower. The biggest complaint was the air conditioner. The filter which you could see through the grids was BEYOND dirty and as a result the a/c struggled to pipe in cool air. Change the air filter in room 211. Also, although the toilet appeared new due to the recent renovations, it was not SET properly because there was a thin line of water around the outer edge on the base. Last but not least, there were druggies hanging out around the property-not ON the property as far a I could see, but………. We stayed one night before flying back home so it was okay

Don’t really have any complaints about the property! We wasn’t in the room much and did not necessarily need any amenities. The room was clean, and had plastic mattresses protectors on the beds, and the floor was hardwood. When we requested a pick up or more towels, the staff was very friendly. Shower was a little small but it was manageable for the price! It was actually more quite than I expected as well. It is also located so close to the walking strip!

TV never worked. No toilet paper, soap, nor towels when I arrived. Promised to discount room but never got discount. Next door to a dispensary, so lots of traffic. On a very noisy street. Convenient location to downtown. Has a usable laundry room.
