„The hotel is easy to find, great parking, ability to eat at the hotel and sit in a nice beer garden. If you have mobility issues make sure you request ground floor room as there are lots of stairs and long corridors. I stayed in a deluxe room which was advertised as bigger than average. Overall pleasing colour decor. Tea, coffee , water . Now to be picky - the mattresses on the single beds pushed together to represent a" king size bed " need replacing . The shower area needs to be bleached. ...

„A really great stay, check in was smooth mid afternoon, superior room was fine with a fantastic super king bed and huge bathroom. We had supper in the bar, good food and drinks in a busy pub setting, a nice buzz and big shout out to Lewis and Sam who were so friendly and professional, a great team. Breakfast was really good, again in the bar with plenty of choices cooked to order as well as a small buffet. We will definitely return again!“

„This was a fine hotel for the UK with a small bedroom (which is normal) and a good sized shower (which is not normal). It was very nice to have a mini fridge and kettle with cups, plates and silverware. We ate in the restaurant downstairs which was fine. When we were ready to check out, no one was around so we just left our keys in the room. Hope that was ok.“

„Alles sehr gediegen und liebevoll restauriert. Allei schon die Ausstattung der Bäder ist eine Übernachtung wert. Dafür muss man allerdings recht tief in die Tasche greifen und wenn es dann eng wird, lieber außerhalb essen ;-) Wenn man sich allerdings auch das leisten will, dann ist das hoteleigene Restaurant eine sehr gute und (für englische Verhältnisse) sehr leckere Wahl.“

„Strange Experience. We tried to cancel one night and add another night but the hotel refused because it would be in the hands of expedia to make such a decision. Expedia said it's in the hand of the hotel. We asked Expedia twice and they reconfirmed that the owner didn't want to show any flexibility. That was weird. When we were there, the owner was super nice and didn't mention this at all. Very strange. The rooms are ok, had a smell of color and you can't sleep with open window because there ...
