The back yard is a mess. Overgrown and weedy, I would not let my dog go back there for fear of ticks and poison ivy. I would say the same for children. The back deck has no furniture so it is unusable. The house fronts to a very busy main road with a supermarket and gas station accross the street, so it is not really of value to a guest. It is very nicely landscaped, but is showing some signs of neglect. The location is fine, but not really convenient to places like Knoxville or the Mountains. There is a lot of strip-mall roadways that have to be navigated. That can make a 20 minute drive turn to 45 minutes quickly.I had business in Oak Rdige and this house is well suited for commuting to their. The drive is very nice, along Melton Lake and the house is pretty easy drive to that area for taking the dog for a quick walk. Clinton itself seems a little run-down at the moment, The main street downtown was closed and looke torn up and there are not a lot of restaurants in the area but Oakridge is close enough. Dean's in Oakridge is fantastic and there is a Clahouns on Melton Lake within about 10 minutes. We had an issue with the bathtub draining that no one responded to. Was advised this was a long standing problem by the contact number we were given. Beds were very conmfortable - memory foam and big. Kitchen was nice, big TV, WiFi worked fine.
