Absolutely unacceptable. This place is a complete disaster.
No heat on one of the coldest nights in Ohio. We set the thermostat to 84 and waited over two hours—still freezing. Maintenance finally comes down and has the nerve to tell us that the heat is working because he felt it, implying we were somehow imagining the cold. Gaslighting at its finest.
After that? The front desk stopped answering the phone. I called the hotel’s main number and got a recording saying they weren’t accepting calls at all. You literally cannot reach a human when something goes wrong.
I contacted Expedia, who initiated a cancellation due to unsafe conditions—and the hotel denied it. So they’re fine leaving guests without heat in winter as long as they still get paid.
To make it even more ridiculous, we were told to use the Lowe’s customer Wi-Fi across the street because theirs was unusable. I wish I were joking.
I was only here because a pipe burst in my apartment and I had nowhere else to go. Dealing with this level of incompetence and indifference on top of an already stressful situation was the last thing I needed.
If negative stars were an option, this place would earn them. Avoid at all costs.
