We had to move rooms at 9:30pm due to a ceiling leak. They gave us alcohol vouchers for the inconvenience, we dont drink. They rudely explained they wouldnt comp a room because we paid through a 3rd party so they gave us a coupn for breakfast the next morning. The new room was not as nice.It had a crap tub/shower combo & the view was of a veranda no longer used. Once we unpacked & settled, the smoke alarm flashed green every 15 seconds & was disturbing our ability to sleep. I called the main desk at 11:30pm & was put on hold for 15 minutes. At 11:45pm, I got dressed & went downstairs. I was placated by a young man who gave me a literal"bandaid". He explained that it would take maintenence 45 minutes to come up to our room & they would only tell us that the alarm is supposed to do that. The bandaid did nothing because the light flashed around the entire mechanism not just the little hole the bandaid covered.
The next morning, we went to breakfast at 11:30am, (it ends at 12pm) & the waitress rudely reminded us we had limited time to eat & then another server came to the table while we were still eating & was trying to rush us through & asking to take our plates when we clearly werent finished yet.
Needless to say, the lodging was disappointing & I am disgusted that it was as costly. If & when I return to Cleveland, I wont stay at the Hotel Cleveland again.
