Make it the Last Resort
It was very loud. Floors were cold. Make sure you have house shoes or socks. Room was very small. One night stay is probably okay but wouldn’t stay much longer.

The room was tidy & clean. I did not like that weird corner seat that looked comfortable, but absolutely was not. It was a chilly night & it took forever for the room to warm up. The bed was a too firm mattress on top of a creaky platform that I thought for sure was going to collapse every time I moved. The comfort level is definitely lacking here,

Front clerk John ended up charging me for a night, saying well you have to check in and you didn’t. I told him iam a travel nurse and work night shift. So I needed to make sure I’d have a room when I got off at 730am. He wasn’t concerned about my issue, nor did he try to help solve it. It’s pretty bad to have to work all night and get no consideration from him. Then he tells me Expedia is going to charge you anyway. Really because they never have before. Seems that he made sure he got his money though.

Throw up on fridge and poop on walls and blood stained towels. Domestic violence in the parking lot first thing in the morning while staff stood around and watched not calling the cops.

Everything was great. However, we had a late flight and informed motel of our late check in well in advance. We checked in at about 2 am and they placed us in a room that was right in front of where they began welding work at 8am! I understand it may have been a small inconsideration, but that was definitely, I imagine, something that could have been avoided, maybe not, I don't know. I did ask the front office if the welding was to continue the next morning. She replied no and it was not. Hopefully, staff take these small things into consideration when placing a late check in. Other than that, facility was great. Did not spend much time there. However, 24 hour Denny's is right in front. Lake very close and Oberlin college, which is what we went for was a straight road ahead, only 16 minutes.

You stay at this property at your own peril. I'm not sure it's even open. I tried calling over 5 times the day of check-in to verify. No working number every time. Not being sure they were open I found another hotel. And yet they still charged my CC. Dispute in process.

Loved how peaceful it was although being by the highway and traffic going by, didn't bother me at all. Room was clean, nice variety of channels if your a TV person. Beds were comfortable ac worked great. Very confienent, there are so many food spots and groceries stores near by everything walking distant if had to.

My families stay was not pleasant. This motel is very run down and I would never advise this location for a family. The pool was drained and seemed to have been out of commission for sometime. This ruined our arrival plans for the kids. Not even 5 minutes into our room the top of my 5 years olds feet were black from the floors not being properly mopped. I was aware it was a smoking room and there would be some damage but our blanket looked like swiss cheese. The door and walls of the bathroom were damaged. Also, nicotine was dripping off of them. The bathroom door had no lock. Fridge and freezer had black mold in them. Some of the staff was friendly and helpful, others made me uncomfortable. You should'nt scold your guest for requesting more wash rags and hand towels which you did not receive the previous time you asked. Would not recommend but clearly enough people are living there so it's doable.

If you're heading to cedar Point, this is a great option if you're staying by yourself. There is absolutely no way you're gonna beat the price. I was really surprised considering all of the other reviews that I had seen from years ago. It appears the people that are managing this property are doing a fine job. The room was furnished, clean, no frills, and small. Just what I needed for this occasion. I'm so glad that I save so much money that i can spemd more are Cedar Point. Cedar Point is 25 minutes away.

Room was not very clean. My 12 year old son even made comment about the dirty shower. Bed spreads on the two beds didn't match, not a big deal, but one was badly stained and dirty. Looked like it hadn't been washed in months. I just took it off. It was a cheap place to sleep for 2 nights. Also was planning on getting in the pool, but it had been drained of water. Didn't know that until I had arrived. Only good things I can say is The area was good and the ac was cold and it was cheap.

Probably never again.
The floor, while appearing clean, showed very dirty when I stepped into the shower, so hadn't been mopped... There was no refrigerator or microwave. I had trouble turning the TV on, and once on I had trouble finding the channels and tuning the tv.
