Decent stay. Make sure to download the vrbo app and message the host asking for the code, as we didn't know to do that. The host was very responsive and helpful. The room offered us what we needed during our stay-- a clean place to sleep and it honestly was more spacious than we had expected. The downstairs area had a spacious kitchen and dining table as well as the bathroom and shower. The kitchen area had a fridge that worked well and various new appliances. We couldn't figure out how to work the wifi and appliances (tried to make a cup of coffee in the keurig)...it seemed like the power outlets weren't working for those. We didn't really need them or message the host about it so that may be our fault, but just fyi in case those are important to you. The stairs leading up to the attic are very narrow and so you need to navigate carefully, and there is an handrail to help. The upstairs had a cute living space with some couches, tv and then leading to the room with a bed. There was a portable ac in the bedroom, which was very nice in the heat. We knew coming in that the ceilings were low and we did keep hitting our heads on the sides (I'm 5'7" and my husband is 6'2" for reference). Over all the space was pretty clean but felt a little dusty. There was a strong smell of weed though and one morning cigarettes that seemed to be coming from the connected space. Not sure if that is the host living there or other guests but would appreciate a no smoking rule.
