„The house was so clean and nicely prepared for our stay. We enjoyed the spacious living, eating and kitchen area. The wooden floors and interiours in the bed rooms made the house warm and welcoming to us. A great place to explore the cliffs of Moher and the burren region.“

„Wonderful time in Ellery lodge. Everything was lovely. Just maybe a small tip for other guests. A simple explanation on using appliances as we had difficulty with cooker and dishwasher. On this occasion I don t think the over 60 age group was a problem 😂“

„This was a lovely property in every way. Three spacious bedrooms, conservatory with a beautiful view, a cozy warm home, especially when coming back from a damp day. Bertie was very generous with her ‘welcome’ food basket, we hardly needed to go shopping. It is about a 10 minute drive from Miltown Malbay so don’t expect to be walking into town though. But once you’ve spent your day exploring, spending the evening at home was quite nice“

„Großzügiges Haus im Grünen mit großem Erholungsfaktor. Das Haus ist ideal, wenn man Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht und seine Unternehmungen eher auf den mittleren Westen Irlands beschränkt. Wer alle Highlights der Westküste sehen will, muß viel Zeit für lange Autofahrten einkalkulieren.“

„There were four of us in our party. 1 couple and two singles. This is a three bedroom cottage which accommodated is just fine. The area is rural, so if you are looking for the convenience of not having to drive, this is not the place for you. „We enjoyed Rachel's house for one week. Being 6 adults and 7 children there was enough space for all of us. Although Rachel is not on site she left a folder with lots of tipps and was always quick to reply if we had any questions. In case there would be a housekeeper nearby. Vaughan cottage is a very good starting point for exploring the Burren. Thanks for everything, Rachel, we had a good time!“

„Kathy’s Cottage was an amazing cottage with absolutely breathtaking views! The cottage was the perfect mix of an old, beautiful, historical irish cottage with modern, comfortable interior updates. The property where the cottage is located is extraordinary - hilltop views of farm land (and some nearby cow friends), rolling green hills and the beautiful irish sea. Close to the towns of Liscannor, Lahinch + for pubs, restaurants, provisions, shopping and more. Would stay here again for certain!“

Although Doolin wasn't on our list for 2020 we added it for 2023 and were very happy we did so; especially given the great communication and flexibility that we had from Rosanna and Patrick. Can't say enough good things about them and the property. We look forward to our next trip to Ireland and Doolin (with Rosanna and Patrick's house) will definitely be one of our stops.“
