„Christine came over soon after we got in the house & made sure we had everything we needed. She was also a wealth of information about things to do locally including eating at Peppers pub!!!The house was great for us. Plenty of room good appliances & comfortable beds. Very quiet location & not far from Ennis & other cities of interest. This is a great stay for a couple of days.“

„Lovely experience. Richard the owner was very accomdating and answered all my questions. Very close to downtown Ennis and the Cathedaral (a five minute walk). I would absolutley stay at this property again. A sweet taste of local Irish living. “

„Everything is wonderful, it´s clean, the kitchen is brilliant with everything you need to cook and drink. In the morning you can watch the cows on the grass, it´s quiet with a lot of space around. We´ve been 9 adults and enjoyed every single second. Thank you Angela“

„Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Shore View Cottage. The house was clean and spacious. Hosts Anne and John Joe couldn't have been more gracious and welcoming. But the views are the star. Really special. Harry the cat was a delight. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for accommodations in the Ennis/Kilrush area. “

„As a large family with siblings travelling in from around the world to celebrate my fathers 80th birthday, we spent weeks trying to find a venue that would be suitable for a large family with kids ranging from 2 to 18. This venue was absolutely perfect for a weekend gathering of all ages . Maretta was so helpful in helping us coordinate a jumping castle, catering, a birthday cake. „The house was fabulous, the history amazing and the hosts couldn't have done more for us.We were three generations (12 of us) travelling to show the grandchildren the wonders of their grandfather's homeland and the Castle House at the Barracks was a perfect base for our stay in this part of Ireland. It was close enough to many of the things that we wanted to see, from Bunratty Castle, the Aran Islands, Craggaunowen, the Cliffs of Mohar and the seaside. Thanks so much Marion.“

"Das ist B&B mit Einer sehr freundlichen Familie. Man wird herzlich aufgenommen. Nicht zu vergleichen mit eher unpersönlichen Hotels. Frühstück war sehr gut und ausreichend. Idealer Zwischenstopp um die Burg mit dem angehängten Freilichtmuseum anzuschauen. Wir können es nur empfehlen."
