„Very large comfortable room and great pub with good food and service. Room was heavily fragranced upon arrival so needed airing. Definitely recommend. The Tide Mill, river walk and Longboat area well worth visiting. “

„A really welcoming group of people and a quick check in. Typical character building with wonky creaky floors but loads of charm. A bit cold in the room at first but soon warmed up with the heater. Lovely amenities and a great bathroom too. Good pub food for dinner, breakfast was OK (hard boiled poached eggs will always get a point deducted I’m afraid). Will definitely stay again though.“

„Fantastic old pub with great service, pub classics and a gourmet menu/specials. Room quirky but fully equipped with tea & coffee making facilities as well as a mini fridge. Option for granola, yogurt & fruit if leaving early before breakfast starts. The only thing missing was a box of tissues which would have make it all the better for a hayfever sufferer “

„Netter Empfang,leider war das Zimmer noch nicht fertig(15 Uhr),Frühstück gut, nettes Personal, Negativ:nach 1,5 Std wurde uns mitgeteilt, das wir einen Aufpreis von 30 Pfd zahlen müßten da wir mit einem Hund angereist sind, das fanden wir leider nicht so gut und ist nicht empfehlenswert“

„Little gem of a place, very good value. Room was basic but clean, and with a balcony and a view what more do you need? Very warm welcome. Breakfast not included but you can get it in the bar after 10. “
