Sehr abgelegen. Abendliche Animation besteht aus essen und trinken, oder auch nicht. Der nächste Seveneleven ist mehrere Kilometer entfernt. Ständige Bauarbeiten, Dach,-Beton,-Maler,-Schweissarbeiten, sägen und bohren, Einbau von Stahlträgern ...... . Ausflüge müssen cash bezahlt werden. Nicht ein vollständig klimatisierter Raum, weder Rezeption, Restaurant ...., ausser Wohnraum. Ein Restaurant grundsätzlich geschlossen. Nicht Behindertengerecht. Die Welt ist gross .......

As for Air-Condition, all of our rooms and villas is provided with Air-Conditioning. However, our lobby area is the open air as we would like the guest to feel with the natural ambience and sea breeze. Sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage, sehr gut zum erholen, da es sich um eine weitläufige Anlage handelt und sich nicht so viele Gäste dort befinden, weil es nur wenige Zimmer gibt. Man hat überall die totale Ruhe.

Der Service ist fantastisch.
Ein erstklassiges Hotel - sehr empfehlenswert für einen ruhigen, entspannenden Urlaub. Der Service ist grandios. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ein highlight..Der Fitnessraum hat sehr gute Geräte. Jedoch ist das Hotel etwas abgelegen. Nach Patong dauert es mit dem Auto je nach Verkehrslage ca. 50 Stunde, nach Phuket town ca 35 Minuten. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen!

Sehr schönes Hotel am Strand
Das Hotel liegt sehr schön in einer ruhigen Bucht und auch der Pool ist eine wunderschöne anlage. Das Frühstück war sehr reichlich und die Qualität sehr gut. Essen am Poolrestaurant Breeze und im Thairestaurant Bee Plee war sehr gut und auch Preis Leistung für dieses Hotel in ordnung. Nur im Restaurant Sala Layan war die Qualität sehr gute aber die portionen zu klein und der Preis zu hoch. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Personal auf der ganzen Anlage war Perfekt (großes Lob).

Sehr schönes Hotel - für Ruhesuchende
Das Hotel ist sehr neu (Fertigstellung Juli 2014) und in einer sehr schönen Bucht gelegen - eine traumhafte Kulisse. Für Ruhesuchende absolut das Richtige, es waren zu unserer Reisezeit (Nov) geschätzt nur maximal 30 Personen im Hotel eingebucht. Das Team ist wunderbar und jederzeit sehr zuvorkommend. Allerdings gibt es nichts, was man in der Umgebung fußläufig erreichen könnte, so dass man für jede Unternehmung außerhalb des Hotels auf einen Fahrer angewiesen ist. Ausflüge und Fahrer am besten selbst über's Internet organisieren bzw. buchen, im Hotel zahlt man einen deutlichen Aufschlag. Die Preise innerhalb des Hotels sind teilweise sehr hoch (Massage ab 100 EUR - außerhalb erhält man Massagen ab 10 EUR, eine Flasche Sonnenmilch im Hotel 30 EUR, eine Flasche Wein ab 70 EUR). Erwähnenswert ist auch noch, dass oberhalb des Resorts noch weitere Villen gebaut werden, die im Laufe von 2015 fertig gestellt werden. Man hört die Arbeiten, ich persönlich empfand sie jedoch nicht als störend.

Cannot say it enough. I love it here! Would come back a hundred times. The staff is super helpful and kind, the spa is amazing and we loved the food options. Great place! Would recommend! We do need to point out that it is a covert small beach which can dry out at certain times of the day due to low tide.

Amazing location, beautiful views and very friendly, hospitable and hard-working staff Special shout out to Prince for taking care of us and other guests (If someone from the hotel is reading this, give him a raise and a promotion). Also thanks to the resident nurse for his help when we needed. The staff in charge of other activities were super-honest (they told us the weather might not be good for the boat ride, but it's our choice to do, not pushy at all). In order to make the review balanced here is a negative points: I didn't get he Expedia VIP's discount on food that I was supposed to get. To be fair, I also forgot to remind them when checking out and the amount is not much (Considering the price of food in Thailand), but Expedia just reminded me of that, so here it is.

A gem slightly tarnished by onsite sticker shock
Overall, we had a great stay at the Anantara. Staff showed dedication and passion. Shout-outs to Jimmy, Plathong, Fit and colleagues at the sea sports hut, and Tar at the Chang Club. Property was very well-maintained, and staff were ever-attentive. Only downside was the uncomfortable insistence that guests pay for pricey bottled water at the restaurants, when clearly, they were able to get free drinking water elsewhere on premises and in their room. Understandably, beverages help pad the margin, and every dollar is needed by F&B/hospitality in these challenging COVID times, but perhaps there would be a better way to approach that that sets guests more at ease and allows them more peace of mind and enjoyment of your beautiful hotel. Yoga at over USD130/session is frankly also excessive. I felt bad for the visiting yogi who was on site; our room was next to the beautiful pavilion used for yoga, but attendance was nil to 1-2 people max. Again, this calls to question the overall pricing of a la carte items. Might there be ways to mitigate the onsite sticker shock, so that guests can set their minds at ease and fully embrace their holidays rather than being forced to do the mental calisthenics of whether these add-ons were “worth splurging on”. A potentially restorative yoga session with an untested instructor should not be viewed as a splurge.

The property is beautiful and peaceful; if you are looking for a more quiet retreat in Phuket, this is the place! The private pool villa with great spacious rooms, stunning views, beautiful grounds, and pool areas; great housekeeping service, room amenities, etc. Incredible service: the staff at this hotel really goes above and beyond to make your stay super special; the breakfast buffet and their staff are just incredible. Thank you very much Anantara; this was our Tropical paradise.
