Das Hotel liegt am Rande der Altstadt von Chiang Mai und bietet einen kostenlosen Airport Shuttle an. Es ist daher ideal als Übernachtungsort, wenn man nach einer Nordthailand- Tour vor der Rückkehr nach Europa steht. Schön ausgestattete Zimmer mit einigen Abnutzungserscheinungen. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt in Chiang Mai würde ich das (gleich teure) De Naga vorziehen.

Leider hat man das Wasser fast 5 Minuten laufen lassen müssen, bevor Warmwasser verfügbar war. Das sollte unbedingt verbessert werden. Frühstücksbuffet ziemlich limitiert, aber gut. Personal sehr lieb

+ Location is excellent, rooms are spacious and very nice. + the lady at the tour desk was very friendly and organised Bus tickets for us. - the breakfast room is a little bit dark and not so nice. The breakfast itself is mediocre. There is room for improvement here. This is nice city hotel with a pool. Friendly staff and spacious rooms. Although it is a bit on the pricier side.

Hotel liegt sehr Zentral, aber dennoch ruhig!
Unser Zimmer lag im Erdgeschoss und daher mit direktem Zugang zum Pool. Das Frühstücksbuffet war für uns abwechselungsreich genug. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Dreckiges Hotel mit Kakerlaken
Das Hotelzimmer war super dreckig, mit ist eine Kakerlake auf den Kopf gefallen und man konnte nicht in dem Jacuzzi baden, da dieser total dreckig war. Die Einrichtung ist schön antik und das Zimmer ansonsten gut ausgestattet.

Für Tempelbesucher zentral direkt an einer belebten Strasse gelegen. Die schlechte Geräuschdämmung der Fenster lässt sie bis weit nach Mitternacht am Treiben teilnehmen.Das Frühstück ist gut und international aufgestellt.Guter Service, bekannt asiatische Freundlichkeit.Wir hatten eine Suite mit Yakuzee gebucht, rein ausstattungstechnisch sehr zu empfehlen.

Thai Hotel in den Mauern der Altstadt
das in Thai Architektur erbaute Traditionshaus mit Thaimanagement ist eine Abwechslung zu den westlich geführten Hotels.Wir belegten eine Kings Suite im 2. Stock mit Klimaanlage, welche unbedingt erforderlich ist. Bei Aussentemperaturen zum Teil über 40 Grad. Uns hat der Thai Stil sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück ist etwas verschieden zu den grossen Hotelketten mit vielen regionalen Produkten und chinesischen Gewohnheiten. Das Hotel war ca. zur Hälfte mit Chinesen belegt. Das Personal scheint etwas schüchtern. Man muss auf den Service zu gehen, wenn man spezielle Wünshce hat, die jedoch sofort erledigt werden. Die meisten der Angestellten sprechen nur gebrochen oder gar kein Englisch. Zu den Mücken: Unbedingt Mückenspray zur Abschreckung und Behandlung von Stichen dabei haben. Trotz Warnungen an den Fenster schleichen sich durch die Zimmertür diese Plaggeister ein. Speziell während des Aufräumens der Zimmer, da das Zimmermädchen während ca. einer Stunde die Türen offen lässt! Mit einem netten Hinweis und einem Trinkgeld kann man erfolgreche entgegen wirken.

mitten in der City und alles Märkte in Laufdistanz
Ein kleines nettes Hotel im asiatischen Stiel eingerichtet. Sogar ein kleiner Swimming Pool sorgte für gute Abkühlung. Das Zimmer war übberraschend gross mit Badewanne und Dusche. Die Badewanne war sogar ein Whirpool. Obwohl mitten in der City gelegen, war es sehr ruhig. In der nahen Umgebung waren viele Restaurants und alle Märkte waren zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Die besten Massagen bekommt man zu einem Spottpreis (150 THB für 1 Stunde) in einem Tempel ....

Ein sehr schönes Hotel zum Wohlfühlen, zentrale Lage in der Altstadt. Zur Mittagshitze haben wir uns gerne in unser schönes Zimmer zurückgezogen. Auch das Frühstück war durchaus ansprechend. Kostenloser Flughafentransfer.

After finding this little gem I always stay here when traveling to Siem Reap twice a year. It’s like a little jungle retreat not far from the city center. I love the quiet relaxing atmosphere away from the busy areas. It’s safe, clean and the staff are amazing. I find the price very reasonable and always look forward to my next stay.

Stay here for the most pleasant Chiang Mai trip!
My wife and I were blown away by the generosity and helpfulness of the hotel staff. After finding out that we were traveling for our honeymoon, they upgraded our room to a gorgeous suite at no cost to us and were always dropping everything to help when we were around. Our trip was during the new year, and the staff even invited us to a bountiful hotpot meal with them to celebrate. Their kindness was the icing on the cake for our time in Chiang Mai and I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

I cannot say enough about the hospitality and service we received from concierge/manager of Sirilanna. I wish I knew his name, but he really went all-out to make sure we had everything we needed/wanted. It is a small, older hotel but absolutely beautifully adorned and will a quaint, authentic feel- almost like a B&B. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Luxurious and perfectly located
Really beautiful and comfortable hotel. The traditional decor looks great, and everything was clean and well maintained. Amenities include free airport shuttle, free breakfast with made to order eggs and a good variety of Thai and Western items, jetted tubs and balconies in the higher end rooms, free bottled water. Oh, and the location is perfect--right in the middle of Old City, walking distance to pretty much everything. I would definitely stay again if come back to Chiang Mai (which I hope I do, it's an amazing city).

Beautiful hotel with a very friendly staff. Worth staying here for the wood-working alone. Gorgeous! The rooms are quiet, spacious and luxurious. The property is well located in Old Sq. Next to and in the middle of everything. I’m sad to leave but will stay here again on a trip back to Chiang Mai.

The room was pleasing ,nice and spacious. It was impossible to sleep at night because of the corner bar across from the hotel. Very loud music and a lot of crazy drank people yelling and screaming and there is no way you can sleep or even rest till past after midnight.

We enjoyed our stay and the staff were very attentive. We loked the old Thai style decor. The only negative was it was on a cross road junction so could be a bit noisy but earplugs did the trick.

Great friendly staff. Overall a good value but issues with hot water in the shower. Several showers were cold or Luke warm which negatively impacted our comfort. The hotel room was very spacious and had beautiful wood accents. Location in Chiang Mai was very good. We walked around most of the old city with ease. breakfasy was delicious and included several Thai dishes and made to order eggs.

Beautiful hotel in a great area!
We loved our stay at this hotel! It is in a great location right in the old city. It is a little more expensive than a lot of hotels in the area, but you get what you pay for! The room was beautiful and had a great jacuzzi bath. Breakfast was included and was delicious. We also got inexpensive thai massaged while we were there.

The hotel itself is BEAUTIFUL, the decor everything just immediately makes an impression as soon as you walk in the pool area is amazing, you can get massages on the property. My sister was fascinated by the koi fish and the staff was kind enough to let her feed them. As soon as we checked in the staff was so friendly, the hotel is very clean, the breakfast was DELICIOUS. If I ever find myself in Chiang Mai again no doubt this is where I will stay. I was so happy with everything.

Wonderful hotel!
Absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel has a lot of charm with all the carved wood. The bed was comfortable and the room quite large. The breakfast was very good with made to order eggs, bacon, and sausage. The pool area was quite nice. The pool itself was quite chilly (as expected in Thailand) but refreshing after some time in the sun. Only 2 slight negatives to the place. 1. Sound carries a lot through the doors (which are beautiful but apparently not sound prood). We had a room adjoining ours and could hear the conversations and music of our neighbors. The hotel is generally quiet so it wasnt a huge issue. My husband got a fan from the front desk and hat drowned out any unwanted noise at night. 2. The water in the shower or bath takes abour 10 to 20 minutes to get warm any time of day besdies morning and even then only gets lukewarm. So if you want a nice hot shower after bathing with elephants, be prepared to wait and have a lukewarm rinse off. But when we showered in the morning, we had no issues. Besides those 2 small things, our stay was heavenly! Highly recommended.

the staff really went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable and the location is really good in the old town rooms very large with big spa bath
