„The place is absolutely beautiful. The setting is perfect. The staff was kind and helpful. Here are a few little things that would have made it a perfect experience. The breakfast on both days was original and interesting. However, it was supposed to be hot not like warm. Outside of our room by the water station was a tray of dirty cups that was there untouched for three days. It may seem petty but our bathroom had only a single roll of TP that was almost used up. „We absolutely loved our stay! The property was so cute, cozy, and incredibly clean. It’s within walking distance of a beautiful winery, and you even get a 10% discount just for staying at the bed and breakfast! Such a nice little perk! And Miss Olga makes the BEST omelets! Everything about our stay was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again!“

„Wonderful inn, beautiful historic rooms, charming atmosphere. The checkin process was very easy, breakfast was wonderful, and The Barn was an absolute delight. We had a wonderful time staying here and absolutely recommend it!“

„Loved this property! Quaint and clean. House cats were my favorite feature. They were living and sweet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Heidi!“

„Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr komfortabel. Die Gastgeber sind unheimlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück wurde frisch zubereitet. Wasser, Softdrinks und Kaffee stehen permanent zur Verfügung. Die Altstadt liegt fußläufig in direkter Nähe. Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder übernachten. “

„Our son is at Frostburg State. The Allegheny Trail house will be our place to stay whenever we plan to visit our son. This place is unique and lovely to stay at. Friendly and attentive staff.“

„Most importantly, the cleanliness of the room and the staff were absolutely excellent. We stayed in the Hawthorn North Suite. Room: I would have enjoyed a firmer mattress. My wife had no complaints, but I had to place a pillow under my legs for back comfort. The soaking tub was quite nice; however, only one person could fit in the tub and there were no built-in water or air jets. Cottage: There was a beautiful, in-tune piano to which we had access. There was also a pool table in the ...

„We loved the spot and will be back!“

„Everyone was so kind, house was beautiful and the food was amazing. Really made us feel like home. Highly recommend.“

„The temperature in the room was set up at 73° and the thermostat was locked. The attendant did not want to unlock it, and I had to demand the owner of the property to be called at which time the key for the box was found, and I was allowed to adjust the temperature in the room.“

„The property is beautiful.I can only imagine how nice it will be after the renovations are complete. Lovely porch to sit on and watch the rain. Lovely private bath with beautiful clawfoot tub. I met my cousin here. It was half way between Pittsburgh and DC. We picked a bad few days, in that everything is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. That gave us a lot of quiet time to relax“

„We only spent one night here because my wife had training in the town of Purcellville. However, we were treated like family. Kenny, the general manager, was very kind, welcoming and attentive. He personally prepared our breakfast. Noé, the caretaker was wonderful and always available to us. Beyond that, this is one of the most beautiful, scenic properties I have ever experienced. You have to see it for yourself. Highly recommended!“

„Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, great location and delicious breakfasts.“
