Das Hotel erstreckt sich über mehrere Häuser in einem Häuserblock. Das merkt man aber erstmal gar nicht, da jedes Haus individuell aussieht, eher wie einige Wohnhäuser. In der Lobby stehen viele verschiedene Sessel und Sofas. Hier trifft man sich am Nachmittag zum Kaffee, 17 Uhr zum Wein oder Bier und ab und zu wird auch Livemusik gespielt. Ganz tolle Atmosphäre. Hier wird aber auch das Frühstück eingenommen, das fand ich etwas seltsam. Man muss schon Glück haben und einen Platz mit einem Tisch erwischen, der eine einigermaßen vernünftige Höhe hat und man nicht seinen Teller auf den Knien balancieren muss. Am ersten Morgen war vom Buffet auch gerade einiges leer und es dauerte etwas, bis es wieder nachgefüllt wurde. Das lief am zweiten Morgen besser. Das Zimmer war großzügig groß. Zum Abend hin macht jemand bereits das Licht an und legt noch einen kleinen Gruß auf das Bett. Wir haben im Hotel auch noch 6 Shirts gewaschen, für $35 etwas happig. Es stehen genug Parkplätze am Haus zur Verfügung, für die Stadt selbst braucht man kein Auto. Und es scheint, dass man auch Fahrräder leihen kann. Insgesamt eine schöne Wahl für was besonderes. Das Publikum ist etwas gesetzter und älter :-)

Preis Leistung stimmte für uns nicht! Bad-Duschtücher wurden nicht ausgewechselt, obwohl wir sie so hinlegten, dass wir es wünschten. Die Tücher waren deshalb am Abend auch nicht trocken. Sie wurden auch nicht aufgehängt. Schade! Das Hotel ist sehr schön und auch sehr speziell.

Bessere Tage hinter sich
Nette Kleinstadt, Hotel sehr in die Jahre gekommen, erheblicher Investitionsstau. Alte Bäder, schlechte Heizung. Einzig der Service und das für Nordamerika etwas überdurchschnittliche Frühstück stimmen etwas versöhnlich. Preis weit überzogen.

I can't say enough good things about this property and their amazing staff!!!! Upon arriving, the cleaning staff opened the door for me even though they were balancing handful of laundry. The desk explained that my room might be just a few more minutes and offered me a glass of wine while I waited. The location is perfectly situated close to everything. My room was lovely with a mix of old historic charm along with updated modern finishes. The extra large TV was mounted over a modern fireplace in a separate sitting area with a sofa and wing back chair. I loved the glassed in shower with a large rainfall shower head. The bed was very comfortable with lots of plugs for all of your devices. Breakfast is included. I was already extremely impressed with the hotel and staff, but the icing on the cake actually happened after I checked out. When approaching my vehicle, I noticed that I had a very flat tire that would even have enough air to get to a garage. Traveling on business to work a trade show all that day put me in a bit of a pickle. The hotel staff said, "Give us your car keys and we'll figure out something while you are busy working the trade show today." Not only did they change my tire to donut tire, but they also sent out the flat tire to a garage who fixed it for me and then put it back on!! The only small charge was from the garage who fixed my tire. I highly recommend this hotel! Exceptional!!

I was surprised that the room are spread out to rooms in so many buildings around the main hotel. Our was on the top floor of the D. A. Bruce building. It had a lot of stairs so would go in and out strategically. The breakfast was great. That room was awesome, like a suite style of room. Cookies were small be delicious. Husband enjoyed the coffee, which was included as well.

Too long tp write to say how amazing the staff were. I was stranded there for 2 extra days and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me as I broke my shoulder while visiting PEI and was immobile and they brought me food, and picked up my medications in a blizzard. The managers there were i credible, attentive and helpful.

This Boutique hotel is located perfectly in the downtown of Charlottetown. Each unit is always decorated so nicely and each one is unique. The staff are always super friendly and eager to assist.
