Mountain Retreat: Virginia Foothills

Beautiful cabin tucked in the woods off of a private lane. The space is well appointed with a lot of character and charm. The home is conveniently located close to the town of Crozet as well as Charlottesville and Ivy. The wineries and breweries of Nelson County aren’t far either and Ragged Branch Distillery is right down the road! We can accommodate two adults and a child (possibly two). The space isn't large enough for 3 adults as there is only one bedroom and an air mattress. Guests are able to use the entire home. Please be mindful of neighbors for noise & drive slowly. There are friendly dogs in the neighborhood that traverse through the property periodically & lots of places to walk/hike. The labs are ours & all are friendly! We have horses, goats, lambs & chickens (including a rooster) next door. Pets are welcome. There is a $50 pet fee for one pet and $25 for any additional. There are several food and grocery delivery services that deliver to the property as well. Guests are able to walk/run the roads in the neighborhood. Please do not trespass on other people’s properties. We live next door so if there is anything you need, don’t hesitate to ask. The home is close to the bustling town of Crozet with a lot of great dining options. It also is close to Charlottesville & Duners in Ivy if looking for fine dining. There is a brewery and a few vineyards within a few miles. The majority of the vineyards and breweries are in Nelson and if you’re interested in tours, let us know and we can connect you with different hop on buses. You will need a car or utilize Uber/Lyft to get around. The roads are winding and dangerous for bike riders. There is a lot of wildlife from deer to turkeys...bears to coyotes. Please do not leave trash unsecured & please be mindful of the wildlife.
