The property was wonderful. I am furious that my daughter, who arrived before me, was charged for the entire room. I was told she would have to pay a $50 refundable fee and that I could pay the entire price upon my arrival. Instead, they ran my card at my arrival. We weren't double charged, thank goodness. My daughter didn't need the extra expense. I can reimburse her, but that isn't the point. It was dishonest.

We believe that it is a straightforward, honest, simple way of doing business. Our team certainly believes in accommodating guests' needs as much as possible, but payment is an absolute requirement and, unfortunately, a nonnegotiable necessity. Per hotel policy, we authorize 50 per night for incidentals at check-in as well. At check out, the incidental hold is released from the card, and the authorization falls off in 3 to 5 business days. This property is super convenient to the airport. It also shares a parking lot and elevators with a Tru by Hilton but the Hampton Inn is WAY better if you’re looking for a quiet night. I will always choose this one when needing to be close to the airport. Our room was large, clean, and quiet. We left too early to try the breakfast and didn’t use the shuttle so I can’t speak to those amenities. The service was great.

We have never been disappointed in a Hampton. This one is very convenient to the airport and the staff was super helpful with dining around the area. There is 2 hotels in one so be careful when checking in.

We arrived at 2am driving from Clarksville TN. I knew that we would arrive this late so around 8:30 pm I called to inform the night shift staff when we would arrive and gave them the names for both rooms reserved. Upon arrival, I was able to check in but my daughter’s room was canceled. We had 4 children and 6 adults with us and we just wanted to get to the rooms to rest because the next leg of our trip would begin at 10 am. The staff informed us that the room was canceled but Expedia confirmed the room was not canceled and to make a long story short it took over an hour to get the key to the other room that was paid for and reserved. At first the front desk was going to make me pay for another room, even after I showed her the reservation and the confirmation of the rooms paid. The issue was resolved however the length of time it took to get the room, with the children restless and adults ready to sleep, should have been quicker.

I tried to cancel 3 days in advance because I was selected to serve as a juror on a 2 week trial. The Refund period ended the Saturday before my scheduled trip. I was summoned to jury duty the following Monday which is when I found out I was going to be selected to serve. This was completely out of my control. I asked the hotel if they could make an exception and provide a refund and they denied it after I offered to provide the proper documentation for my reason.

I was told when I called the hotel prior to booking that there is a shuttle that runs 24/7 and that even if I checked in after midnight and needed to leave at 5 am this would not be an issue. I made sure to call ahead since I was traveling alone with my 3 kids and none of us had flown before. At check in I was told that all morning flights were booked. In order for me to get to the airport, I had to take the shuttle at 2 am with my kids. Our flight later got delayed for several hours, which was not the hotel's fault, but we ended up being at the airport for 12 hours. This could have been avoided if I would have had a shuttle to the airport at the appropriate time as I had been promised prior to booking. I only used the hotel for 30 minutes and was not offered an apology for how things worked out. I also don't think that $140 is a reasonable price for hotel and parking after dealing with this. Lastly, when we were supposed to be picked up by the shuttle we waited nearly an hour. In general I really like Hampton Inn for their reputation, however this was a horrible experience. Maybe this can be addressed with staff so that it does not happen to someone else.
