Looking for the ultimate family-friendly, oceanfront Folly Beach condo with stunning views of crashing waves, rolling sand dunes and the setting sun? Then Sunshine Daydream is the condo for you! This 4 bedroom, end unit within the Charleston Oceanfront Condo community provides families with an unforgettable beach retreat with its mesmerizing ocean views, access to two community pools (when those community pools are open for the season - usually April 1 to October 1 but it can vary) and other community amenities like outdoor shower, beach access points & more. Best of all, Sunshine Daydream has been completely & gorgeously renovated with an all new kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, furniture, appliances & more! Sunshine Daydream is perfect for families, as there is plenty of room for members of your group to spend time together and also have the option to relax on their own. Once you climb the exterior stairs or take the elevator from the parking level to the home, all the rooms of Sunshine Daydream are on the same floor. There are ocean views from the kitchen, dining area, living room, master bedroom and covered balcony. Your toughest decision of the day will be whether to frolic on the beach with the kids, watch the waves come to shore from the covered patio, cool off in one of the two community pools or watch a movie in the beautiful living room.

Guests enter Sunshine Daydream by taking the elevator or stairs to the second floor and entering the front door of the villa. Once you enter the front door, you will find a central hallway that connects all four bedrooms with the kitchen, dining & living room areas. The galley-style kitchen, dining room and living room areas have ocean views through the sliding doors that lead to the villa's private, covered balcony. Relax with a good book, sip a cocktail or enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony. Off-street parking within the gated community for up to 2 cars is included in the rental rate.

NO PETS, NO SMOKING. Sunshine Daydream is located within a residential condominium community. Please NO PARTIES, EVENTS, PERFORMING ARTISTS OR BANDS ARE ALLOWED AT ANY TIME. The 10 person maximum occupancy is the maximum number of people that you may have in the unit at anytime -- day or night -- during your stay. Pets are not permitted in the condo and you may not smoke. These are causes for eviction with no refund and may damage our ability to offer the home for future guests exposing you to liability. Beautifully renovated condo with a stunning beach view! The location was perfect for beach/ pool days as well as walking to all the fun bars, shops, pier and restaurants! We spent so much time on the huge, multi seating balcony overlooking the splendid view of the Atlantic! The kitchen included everything we needed to prepare a few meals. Wonderful place to stay in Folly Beach!

We (family of 5) really enjoyed the property and how close it was to the Folly Beach shops, restaurants and beach right out the door! Property was clean, very updated/modern and spacious - had everything we needed from kitchen items to cook, enough towels for showering and the beach, and great views of the beach/ocean. There was some construction right outside the property starting at 8am weekdays, but we don’t fault the owners/property managers for this - they were quick to respond to our inquiries and credited us for the inconvenience of construction and one pool being closed. We would definitely stay here again!

Great condo but CONSTRUCTION all around

The house is very well updated. However the side of the building that this condo is at is under construction. There is scaffolding. And the construction noise of jackhammers and such begins promptly at 8. The pool is closed. Half of the parking lot is closed for all the construction supplies. The owner failed to mention that this was going on. When I asked about it she said that they stated on the listing that the beach was undergoing maintenance. Which is also happening, but they did have that mentioned. I told her this was not beach maintenance but it was to the building. She said so sorry but it is common for the HOA to perform building maintenance during fall/winter. This is major maintenance. And she did nothing about it to try and make the stay better. Before booking this condo, I would make sure that this is complete. The condo is nice, but it is not ideal during this construction time.

Folly Beach Getaway

We had 3 couples stay in this lovely condo and it worked out great! We had some beach time, downtown time, and some relax at the condo time. Your recommendation of Groceries Ahead worked out great too. I ordered online and everything was delivered and put away before we arrived. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and tools. Balcony had plenty of seating for us to hang out and visit and watch the activity on the beach.

Lots of perks!

Second story unit by the stairs so no need to wait for the elevator. Great parking spot was usually open just below us too! The beach towels provided were absolutely a blessing with the wet kids in and out. Beach view feom the balcony was great, lots of people and fishing boats to watch.

In The End

End unit with the social side of the condo towards the outside of the building - bonus. The A/C was amazing. Access to the beach is just steps. The location of this unit can't get any better. The unit has recently been remolded and is very nice. The bunk beds are def for kids or people not of larger size or age. Only bummer was 10AM check-out. I get it, but it really needs to be 11. Cons against the building and hoa - not the actually unit, prop mgr or owner (they were all perfect): Building needs a facelift and the elevator is hot, stuffy, and muggy. No golf cart parking in the lot (so if you rent one it better have a city parking pass for the street).
